Perfect Timing

Sam woke up from hearing voices outside. She was confused. It was just her and Daniel, why does she hear other voices? Familiar voices at it. She got up, throwing one of his shirts on including a pair of shorts. She left the bedroom calling out his name "Daniel?" She looked around before realizing the voices were coming from outside. She walked to the door, opening it to find Daniel chatting it up with Asjha, Michael, Geffri, Greta, Bre-Z and her fiancé. "She's awake!" Sam rubbed her eyes "Whats going on?" Daniel walked up to her "Good morning my sleeping beauty" he kissed her. "I told you I got another surprise" she started to smile, throwing her arms around him "God, I love you!"

After Sam, showered and got fully dressed. She joined her friends outside. "Sam, you're glowing hard. I love how happy Daniel makes you" Asjha told her friend. "He does make me so happy" she looked down smiling. "It could also be that you got the D last night" Sam laughed "I don't kiss and tell" she told Bre-Z. "Girl, we know you did" Samantha grinned before covering her face with her hand, blushing hard. The fellas were playing catch with a football. "So you and Sam seems a little serious" Michael told Daniel. "We're pacing ourselves" Daniel threw the ball at Michael who caught it, raising an eyebrow. "Pacing yourself?" Daniel chuckled. "Bro, you are in love. What did Asjha say? You're chocolate blushing" he chuckled. "Bro... I am not" Daniel trailed off. "You serious? Neither one you can keep your eyes off of each other" Michael kept seeing the quick glances from Sam and Daniel.

"Girl are you even listening to us?" Greta realized she was giving glances with Daniel. "Y'all can't even keep your eyes off of each other for a good 5 minutes" Sam giggled. "Oh don't be so dramatic" she told her friend. "I'm dramatic? Says the one who's eye fucking him" Greta told her. "Now you're making things up..." Sam trailed off. "You are eye fucking him" Chris told her. "Even my girl sees it" Bre-Z told Sam. She crossed her arms before looking down smiling. "So are we hiking or not?" Sam was trying to change the subject. "We can but doesn't excuse the fact that you're eye fucking Daniel" Greta told her. "Let Sam, live" Ashja giggled. "Thank you!" Sam said to her. "I mean, if Sam wants to eye fuck him it's her man to eye fuck" Sam laughed before shaking her head.

They all were walking the trail. Sam was walking with Greta and Asjha while Daniel was walking behind with Bre-Z and Chris. Michael was ahead of all of them with Geffri. "I see you checking her out" Daniel chucked at Bre-Z "Is it a crime to check out your girl?" Daniel asked her. "Not at all, I check out my girl all the time" Chris giggled. Sam had a slight grin on her face, seeing how happy Michael and Geffri were. She was so happy for them. "Yo, Sam? Daniel is back here looking at your ass" Bre-Z yelled out. Sam looked over her shoulder smirking "he can look but he can't touch" she said. "Not what you said last night" her mouth dropped with everyone laughing. "Daniel" he took off running with her chasing after him. "Being around Daniel, Sam, Michael, Geffri, Bre-Z, and Chris makes me miss my boyfriend" Asjha mentioned. "I know that feeling" Greta mumbled. Daniel stopped running, he turned around grabbing her by the waist. "You're gonna get it" she told him. "Not right now in front of our friends" he joked. "Horny ass" she hit his arm with him laughing. "You love it" he continued to laugh.

Sam tried to walk away but he picked her up bridal style before running past everyone. "Show off" Michael shouted. Sam laughed the whole time with Daniel reaching the top. "We're on top of the world!" He sat her down "Whooooo" he shouted. She laughed at his excitement. He was truly happy. Putting his fear aside paid off. "You're so happy" she was smiling hard. "That's because I'm with my favorite people, my favorite person" he wrapped his arms around her waist. She wrapped her arms around his neck before kissing him passionately. "These two need a room" the rest of the group finally got up the hill. Both Daniel and Sam gave them the finger while continuing to kiss one another.

They were hungry when they got back down. So Michael and Daniel decided to go grab pizza. "So, I see that Michael is making you happy" Sam said to Geffri. "We're taking things slow. We're not official. Just enjoying the moment" she told them. "Well... I say why not be official? You two want it, don't you?" Geffri shrugged "I think it's best to stay like this. Don't want to mess things up" Sam was confused. "How would you mess things up?" — "What if it doesn't work out? I don't want to risk ruining a friendship" she told Sam. "It's all about taking risks. Isn't that what marriage is about? You don't know if the person that you'd marry is going to switch up on you in any second. You're putting your whole entire heart and soul into something that you are not really sure if it'll last forever. But people get married every single day, because they are willing to take that risk because they love each other. You need to take that risk with Michael if you really do love him and want to be with him" Sam told her. "Not everybody is like you Sammy. Maybe they like the way they are. Not everybody can be loved up like you and Daniel" she nudged Sam's arm. "It's just—I just want everyone to experience the way he makes me feel. Like, it's like I'm living in a dream that I never want to wake up from. I'm in love with him..." she thought about it, her smile grew "yeah.... I'm in love with him" she shook her head grinning. "How did I get so lucky...." she trailed off. Bre-Z poured her water bottle on Sam's head to snap her out of it. "Ahhh! What the fuck bitch?!" Sam wiped the water from off her face. "Girl you was daydreaming" she told Sam. "Can a girl live a little?" They were laughing.

Daniel and Michael got back with the pizza "Damn, babe, what happened to you?" She pointed at Bre-Z "that thing tried to drown me with her water bottle" Bre-Z tried imitate Sam's voice "oh stop being so dramatic" they all laughed. "I do not sound like that" she giggled. "You kind of do" Daniel chuckled with her rolling her eyes at him. "I love you too" Daniel told her. They placed the pizza on the table and they began helping themselves with a slice or two. Of course Sam had to take 3 slices. "3 slices?" Daniel asked. "Yup. You know I love to eat" she told him. "For someone who loves to eat sure doesn't gain any weight" he joked. "And your point?" Daniel was seated on the table part of the bench with his feet touching the seat. Sam sat down between his legs with everyone else seated like normal people. " my point is... Actually I don't have a point, I love every part of your body" he admitted. "You fucking better" she told him. "So demanding" he told her. "You love that too" she looked over her shoulder, smirking at him. "You're ugly" she rolled her eyes. "I'm ugly but you be fuck—" she covered her mouth from behind. "TMI Sam!!" Asjha realized something while seeing how happily in love they are. "You know what I just realized about you Sam..." Daniel removed his hand "You haven't been having any anxiety attacks recently. At least you're not telling me about them. It's like Daniel is the cure to your happiness" she told her. "It's true.. I mean I have moments where I start to freak out but he's there to reassure me that everything will be alright" she looked over her shoulder at him "and I thank you for that.

A grin formed on Daniel's face. "Wait, is that an engagement ring?" They noticed Sam's ring. "It should've been... just kidding. No, it's actually a promise ring" she told them. "I promise to marry her someday. I don't want to rush anything. We have plenty of time" he leaned down kissing the top of her head. "There's definitely no other man on this earth who could make me smile this happy. My real life Spencer" she grinned. "The crazy thing is, we used to think that you were acting until—" Asjha cut off Bre-Z "We? Speak for yourself, I knew my girl was in love the moment she heard that accent" Daniel chuckled while Sam was smiling and blushing. "But of course it was wrong timing but now everything is perfect timing. After what you've been through, you deserve true happiness" Asjha told her best friend. "Careful, she's gonna ask for a real ring next" Michael joked with Sam slowly looking down, grinning to herself.
