Daniel's Impact

Samantha fell asleep on the couch. He wanted to carry her to his bedroom but didn't want to risk waking her so he left her alone. He stood up and was about to take their glasses when her phone vibrated. He saw that it was Alec texting her. His eyebrows narrowed down not wanting to check her messages because that would be the wrong thing to do but his conscience made him do so. He was surprised that she didn't have a lock on her phone which made it easy for him to look through it. He saw the messages:

Alec: Sam I have a question *8hrs ago*

Sam: what's up? *8hrs ago*

Alec: Would you like to go on a date with me? I know it's sudden but I like you a lot and I could treat you so much better than he can. Let me know  *1 second ago*

Daniel rolled his eyes not pleased by him begging to go on a date with her. He did the most unusual thing, he deleted his message. "Why did you do that?" Daniel said out loud. "Why I do what?" Sam said tiredly with him quickly clicking to the black screen of the phone and placing it down just in time for her to open her eyes. "Just talking to myself..uh you want to lay down in my bed?" She sat up yawning "what time is it?" He checked his watch "a little past midnight" he told her. "Maybe I should get home" she told him. "I would rather have you stay.. I just don't want you to driving this late. Plus you're exhausted" she sat back in the couch "I guess you're right" she couldn't stop yawning. "Here" he held out his hand with her taking it before standing up. He led her to his bedroom and she immediately kicked her shoes off before climbing in his bed. She curled up as she rested her head on his pillow. "Can I get you an extra blanket?" She shook her head before looking at him "more like a pair of arms to hold me while I'm sleeping" Daniel hesitated at first before he kicked his shoes off and pulled off his hoodie before he climb in bed next to her. He slowly wrapped his arm around her with her placing her hand on top of his.

Samantha woke up from the sun shining down on her face from the curtains. She wiped her eyes before sitting up. She was in Daniel's bed. She slowly got out of bed and left the room. "Daniel?" He was nowhere in sight which confused her until the door unlocked and opened up with him walking inside. "You're awake. Just in time for some coffee" he held out a coffee "extra caramel Frappuccino just like now you like it" she took it "you do love me" she pretended to act shocked with a fake gasp making him laugh. "Of course I love you" she took a drink from her straw "I definitely need this, this morning. Thank you Daniel, you're the best" hearing that come from him made him smile mischievously. "Anything to keep that smirk on your face even though you kinda ugly" he joked with her rolling her eyes playfully before hitting his arm "jerk face" he laughed. "You love this jerk face" he smirked. "If you say so..." she walked to the couch and sat down. "So what's your plans for the day if you don't mind me asking" he walked over and sat down next to her. "Stay inside, you know I'm introverted.. probably have Jordan come over to play video games" she smiled gloriously. "You're such a kid at heart" she took a sip of her frapp. She took her phone from off the coffee table to check her messages. "None from Alec who she thought would text back. Daniel sat back and glanced at her phone seeing her sigh in disappointment. "What's your plans for the day?" He was curious about this Alec guy. He didn't want her to be in another situation where she'll get hurt. "Just stay home.. as much as I'm extroverted I need to be alone right now to figure some things out.." he gave her an approval nod. "As you should. You've been through a lot. All I would ever want you to do is mentally healthy. You deserve happiness Sam. I don't like to see you sad. You know how hard it is to be filming sad scenes with you? That shit be hurting me.. my heart be telling me to hold you but my mind he saying don't break character" she giggled "Aw you're so cute!" He chuckled "You're the cute one" he told her. "Yeah? I thought I was ugly?" She raised an eyebrow. "I said kinda ugly get your facts right Sam" she laughed before giving him the finger with him laughing as well. They have a very friendly and jokingly friendship. They get each other just like how their characters on All American gets each other. They look out for one another and will do anything in their power to make one another happy.

Later on that day Daniel had Michael over playing video games. " I can't believe we're done filming. I already miss it" Michael admitted. "Bro who are you telling. But I hung out with Sam last night" Daniel admitted with Michael pausing the game which confused Daniel "What are you doing?" It was no surprise to Michael that they hung out because they are very close outside of being on set. "What did you and Sam do?" Michael was highly curious. "We hung out here and just talked" Michael wasn't buying it. "You could've just talked to each other when we were at the wrap up party. Are you sure you just talked?" Daniel chuckled "Bro don't even go that way...Sam and I are just friends" Michael also didn't believe that "Just friends? Yeah just like Olivia and Spencer" Daniel laughed "will you unpause the game already?" Michael had a mischievous grin on his face "Not until you tell me the truth about you and Sam" Daniel gave him a snarl making Michael chuckle "Don't act like you're not lowkey crushing on her. You mean to tell me if Sam came up to you tomorrow or whenever and told you that she is in love with you, what would you do?" He snarled at Michael again "That wouldn't happen" he told Michael. " I said what if she did" Michael waited for him to answer. "I'm not about to answer that question because she wouldn't. I am not her type. Not to hate or anything cause it's her business and all but she goes for white boys, I'm for damn sure not white" Michael chuckled. "You could be if you bleach your skin" Daniel burst out laughing with Michael chuckling. "That killed me" Daniel tried to get hisself together after that comment Michael made. "Well she definitely has bad taste in men because she literally just got her heart broken twice" Michael told him. "She'll know her worth someday. Believe it or not she needs someone like you" Spencer gave him a clueless expression. "You know I'm right. You would give her heart justice and her mental health. She needs someone who can read her, someone who cares for her deeply and would do anything in the world for her. Someone who can make her laugh when she is at her lowest. If you haven't noticed that girl keeps a smile on her face and can't help but to laugh around you. That's your impact. You might not see it now but sooner or later you will look back at this conversation and be like... 'damn Mike was right' but that's all I gotta say about this...." he unpaused the game with Daniel not completely focused. He was in his own world thinking about what Michael just told him about Sam.

Samantha was hanging out with Asjha. "What's on your mind? Seems like you're elsewhere right now" Asjha told her. Samantha shrugged "just have a lot on my mind but it's a lot better than it was yesterday, thanks to Daniel" Asjha's eyes drawn confusion. "What do you mean by thanks to Daniel. Y'all hooked up?" Samantha's eyes lit up with embarrassment as her clerks flustered red and mouth parted. "You did?!" She shook her head "no! Daniel and I are homies, are you insane?" She burst out laughing at Asjha's comment. "I don't see what's the problem with what I said. He's a very handsome guy and that accent is sexy and you know it. Don't act like your heart doesn't melt every time you hear his voice" Asjha nudged her arm. "I don't" she looked down touching the back of her ear feeling butterflies fluttering in her stomach. "I call bullshit. For someone who is extroverted, you turn straight introverted when you're around him. Not to mention you're team Spelivia" Samantha made a confused smirk "who isn't team Spelivia?" She tried to ask a question with a question and Asjha wasn't having it. "Don't ask a question with a question. The thing is about you Sam, you suck at lying. And you love the idea of Spelivia because that means you get to kiss him" she rolled her eyes "if you say so..." Asjha noticed how uncomfortable Sam was about talking about Daniel. "We talk about boys all the time but when Daniel's name gets mention you get shy, you get taken out of your comfort zone. You need to face your feelings instead of trying to find someone to block your feelings out because you're scared for some odd reason when Daniel would treat you like a Queen that you are. Spelivia is coming. That ship is truly endgame. So that means a lot more intimate scenes are on the way including a kiss. That's where things will be even more complicated" Asjha stood up from the couch to go grab her a water leaving Samantha in deep thoughts.
