Overthinking or Not

Samantha stepped outside, getting a good stretch him, while yawning. She looked around hearing the birds chirping. A smile formed on her lips, feeling two strong arms wrapped around her tiny waist. Daniel kissed her neck while they stood in a peace. "Good morning baby" his voice was deeper than normal due to just waking up. "Good morning handsome" she whispered. They stood in silence, just enjoying the beautiful scenery. "We should go swimming" Daniel suggested. "Swimming? Where are we gonna go swimming at?" She knew there wasn't any thing out their besides the cabin and the trail to the top of the hill. " I looked on the map, there's a place throughout the woods—to go swimming" she got out of his grip to turn her body to face him. "You.. would go through the woods?" He nodded "who are you?" He laughed. Daniel was full of surprises which she loved because he's a lot more comfortable now being out there. "I'm your man, that's who I am. Look, I survived these past two days with you, being here.. I can survive going through the woods to go for a little swim" he told her.

Daniel and Samantha were walking through the woods. There were noises that was kind of freaking her out but he didn't budge. "Dude, how are you not freaking out?" He chuckled, looking over his shoulder at his girlfriend who was close behind. "Baby, I'm fearless. New me" she was confused. "Here take my hand" he held his hand out for her, she took it. "How long are we until we're there?" He shrugged "about 6 minutes" he told her. "How are we heading to this place that supposedly have a spot for us to go swimming... when you are not even using the map? We are gonna get lost!" he laughed. "Babe, will you relax? You need to trust me instinct" he lead her through the woods.

Finally, they arrived at the destination. "What the hell?" It was a big swimming pool in the middle of the woods. "I told you" Daniel was smirking. She couldn't believe it. It made no sense to her. "Daniel, I do not trust this" she watched him pull his shirt off. "Are you serious right now?" Daniel kicked his shoes off and took his pants off. "Babe?!" Daniel looked over at her with a smirk before looking towards the pool. He took off running before jumping in. Daniel came up from underneath the water, wiping the water from off his face. "Come in baby" he told her. Samantha hesitated before pulling off her crop top. She then kicked her shoes off, then her shorts. Daniel had a vile smirk on his face, Sam took a deep breath before running and jumping in. When she came up from the water Daniel was nowhere to be found. She wiped the water from off his face, she was confused. "Daniel?" Suddenly fish started to surround her. "What the—" an over large fish then appeared. "Oh my God..." she started to swim towards the wall of the pool but every time she would seem to swim closer the wall got further and further away. "Daniel?" She shouted, out of breath from trying to swim away. She looked over her shoulder seeing the over large fish coming for her fast. "Daniel?!!!!" She shouted.

"Baby?" Daniel shook Samantha who finally woke up from the dream. She looked at Daniel scared before holding his face, kissing him multiple times. Daniel was confused but knew whatever she dreamed about, freaked her out. Samantha got out of bed, walking into the bathroom. She closed the door and stepped to the mirror, turning the faucet on. She leaned down with her hands under the water, splashing her face with the water. She then looked up with confusion on her face. She didn't understand why she was dreaming about fish, and it freaked her out. "Baby, you good?" Daniel knocked on the door, Samantha didn't know. She was so confused because that dreamed seemed so real to her. She turned the water off, opening the door with Daniel standing in front of the door. "You good?" She nodded before walking past him, leaving the room. Daniel was confused, he left the bedroom to find Samantha standing outside of the cabin. She was standing on the deck, arms crossed. He walked out "you're acting different" he told her.

" I had a weird ass stream... That we were... Going into the woods" Daniel made a snarl. "Now you know damn well I wouldn't go further than here and that trail up the hill" he told her. "I know.. but um, You were so wanting to go swimming so we went through the words to find this place that you kept talking about that you saw on the map. When we got there it was a big ass swimming pool in the middle of the woods" Daniel was looking at her puzzled. "You got undressed before jumping in, then was waiting for me. I didn't like the idea of a swimming pool being in the middle of the woods. But, I got undressed and jumped in. When I did, you disappeared" Daniel started laughing. He found the story to be hilarious while she wasn't laughing. "Can you please be serious?" He cleared his throat "sorry.. proceed" he told her. "You vanished once I got in the swimming pool and fish started to surround me" he was puzzled once again. "Then an over large one came out of nowhere and was coming after me. I tried to get away, I tried to swim towards the wall of the pool to get out but the quicker I swam towards the wall it was like the further it was getting away from me" she saw how puzzled he was. "I know.. I don't understand it" she told him.

"Maybe you're pregnant? You know that saying, 'I dreamed of fishes' when people dream about fishes someone or yourself is pregnant. But before you start to freak out, you're not pregnant Sam. We've been careful" he told her. "But anyway, I'm going to shower so that I can enjoy this last day with you, you're more than welcome to join if you want to" he said before walking back to the bedroom. Samantha was stunned. She sat down on the couch slowly. That's it.. what if she is pregnant? Why would she randomly dream about fish? She thought about it deeply. They had some pretty intense sex a few times. She wasn't sure anymore if he ever pulled out before he reached his climax or not. She was puzzled. She was stunned. She was speechless.

Daniel was in the shower when he felt Samantha's arms wrap around him from behind. "I knew you would join me" a smile formed. "Daniel....." she trailed off. "Yeah?" That dream was haunting her. "What if I'm pregnant?" She removed her arms slowly, watching him turn around. She glanced down before clearing her throat, looking back up at him blushing. "If you're pregnant then I'll be so happy. But you're not. Don't let a dream make you question if it's happening or not. It's just a dream baby" he told her. "But Daniel—" he placed his finger against her lips. "Stop over thinking" he removed his finger with her sighing. "Can you wash my back?" She nodded before taking the soap and towel. Daniel turned around, waiting for her to wash his back. "But baby, what if—" Daniel threw his hands up, turning around. "I'll buy you a pregnancy test. Will that make you feel better? When we get back from the cabin, I'll buy you one" he told her. "Knowing the results will definitely help" she told him. "Fine. Now can you please wash my back woman?" She giggled before he turned around.
