I Miss My Friend

Lezra didn't speak for weeks. During that time Sam tried to get a hold of Daniel but he wasn't responding. It was now time for the All American cast to meet up at Warner Bros. Pictures to begin filming season 3. They had to first get the nose swap done first which sucked! Then off to hair and makeup for the women actors. "As much as I missed filming the show, I didn't miss having to sit here to get my hair and makeup done" Monet said with both Samantha and Greta agreeing. "This season is about to be so much drama than the prior season and it looks like Olivia is trying to sneak up on Layla's man. Let me find out something happened over the summer" Samantha rolled her eyes playfully "oh don't be so dramatic. Olivia was meant to be with Spencer but Layla little fast ass divided to sneak her way in" Samantha told her.  "It's going to be interesting to see what happened between Olivia and Spencer over the summer" Monet said. Samantha was nervous. They didn't know anything as they only got the first two episodes script so far. She wasn't sure if they kissed or went further than that. The fact that she's about to have an awkward run in with Daniel was stressing her. "Do you think Olivia and Spencer linked up" Samantha shrugged "I have no clue.. only time will tell but from the looks of they've done something. I'm here for it.. Olivia deserves to be happy" Samantha said not realizing she deserves happiness as well.

Daniel was outside playing catch with Michael. "Nice catch!" Michael said while they got lined up again. "Down set hike hike" he went back slowly before throwing the ball at Daniel who was sprinting and turned before catching the ball. "Man I see Spencer is trying to really be part of the family. I read the script. Something went down over the summer between the two of you" Michael chuckled as Daniel walked over to him with the football. "Same for Jordan and Simone. Too many secrets that needs to be revealed...." Daniel tossed him the ball. "Yes but no one is too invested in Jimone, people wants Spelivia. But what the fans don't know is that the actors who plays Spelivia aren't on speaking terms" Daniel shrugged. "You and Sam needs to talk bro" Daniel didn't agree "We will talk... as Spencer and Olivia" he told Michael. "No Daniel and Samantha needs to talk. Come on man. You can't bring Spelivia to life like this" Michael said before walking off. Daniel walked to the football area of the set and just stood there looking to think. "Hey stranger.." Greta walked up to him. "Sup.." he said back. "Excited to back with the All American crew" she said. She noticed he wasn't in a talking mood. "You and Sam needs to figure it out fast. You bring Spencer and Olivia to life because you're so similar to your characters. We don't want the spark to do die because you're not on speaking terms."

Samantha was standing in the Bakers set up with Cody and the director/crew when Daniel walked in. Her heart was racing when she saw him. He walked passed her with her sighing to herself wishing this would end. It was time for them to film their scene. They got set up and Daniel stepped out of the house with Cody and Samantha going upstairs halfway since the camera won't be showing the stairs as much. When the director yelled action, Daniel walked in. "Aye Jordan? Jordan you here?" Daniel turns around with Samantha walking down the stairs rubbing her arm. They were in character but it felt as if they were real life living in this moment. Since this was the first time they're speaking since weeks ago. Samantha was staring at him truly missing him. She knows he was upset with her that's why they went this long without speaking to each other. Crazy how they can relate to Olivia and Spencer with Alec being like Asher. "My bad I let myself in I should've rung the bell" Daniel said as Spencer James. "Why you have a key...." Samantha as Olivia trailed off giving a quick forceful nervous smile. "Yeah I should probably give this back..." he looked at her who was looking at him awkwardly. "This ain't my home anymore" he was about to walk towards the door but she moved in front of him "Spencer I—" she looked over her shoulder with Cody as Asher came walking downstairs with both Daniel and Samantha looking up. "Spence" he said happily. "Hey man..." Daniel was jealous. "I-I didn't get a chance to talk to you at school yesterday, it's good seeing you man" they did a little handshake. "Yeah you too, you too..." he forced a smile before looking at Samantha who twisted her jaw to the side awkwardly being in character as Olivia was awkward because not only she hasn't saw Spencer since before their summer secret but this was also her first time seeing Daniel in weeks which made things awkwardly perfect for the scene. "This is my fault, I was looking for Jordan he ain't answering my texts.." Daniel said. "I.. think he's with Simone" Cody said. "But he's going to be at JJ's half birthday tonight" Cody continued. "Right, okay. Alright bet Imma go... I'll holla at you" he looked at Samantha before walking towards the door. She tucked her lips in before looking at Cody "um... one sec.." she turned around to face Daniel who was about to open the door. "Hey.. uh.. is everything okay? Or did something happen?" Daniel looked at her then looked at Cody who walked towards the kitchen area. Daniel looked back at Samantha "Nah everything's cool" he nodded with her looking at him awkwardly. "Besides.. just like you said yesterday.." he pulled out the key and dropped it in her hand "space.. right?" He said before walking out the door. "And cut" the director called. Samantha sighed as she looked down. She wanted to talk to Daniel so desperately but knew he wasn't up to talking to her. They had one more scene to do together but not necessarily her encountering with him. She sat at the table feeling her heart race while the director yelled "action!" Daniel was walking towards the Cafe when Greta was seated on a bench "hey!" Daniel stopped and smiled as she stood up. They walked up to each other smiling "Uh so..." Greta trailed. "Welcome home" Daniel said making her giggled "thanks. Um look.. I tried to be a big girl and text before an awkward run in" she said. "Yeah.. I ran into Cam earlier" she cut him off "no it's fine and listen about Vegas it wasn't a big deal.. soo..." she struggled. "Layla, it was a big deal to me" he said before going in for the kiss. Samantha was watching before she looked down. "Guess we missed a lot this summer" Cody sat down smiling at Daniel and Greta walking in the cafe happy and talking. "Yeah I guess so..." it drawn her character Olivia Baker to be jealous but she was real life jealous.

Samantha's POV

I get it that we're filming but why does it feel like he's putting a lot more effort into that kiss? The fact that I have to sit and watch was... I'll admit making me jealous. No it's not because I like him.. because he's just a friend but because he hasn't spoken to me in weeks and it's like he's mad that I went back with Alec.

After they wrapped up for the day. Samantha was walking ahead of Daniel to her trailer when she was stopped by Alec. "Hey babe" she stopped and was a bit surprised to see him. "Hi... uh.. what are you doing here?" Daniel stopped walking when he saw them. "I came to surprise you" he said. "Oh.. I.." she trailed off when she saw Daniel walk passed then feeling like her heart sunk into her chest. "Sam?" She was looking at Daniel go into his trailer. "Sam?" She looked at him tucking a braid behind her ear. "I think it's best if you leave. Not trying to sound like a bitch or anything but—" Alec was mad "let me guess you don't want to piss off the Brit?" She was annoyed "no maybe it's because I actually don't want you here" she pushed passed him. "Sam?" He turned around calling out her name watching her go into her trailer. She locked it before walking to the couch and sitting down. She went to Daniel's contact and sent a message:

I really wish you would talk to me.....it's like I have to be Olivia Baker to talk to you and it hurts. I miss my friend....☹️

Daniel was seated in his trailer when he read her text message. He couldn't lie, seeing Sam put him in such a better mood. He could relate to Spencer when he finally ran into Olivia since going awhile with not talking to each other. But seeing her with Alec totally killed his mood so he chose to ignore her text by leaving it on read.
