Daniel's POV

How could I allow Alexis to make me jealous? Like, how? No wonder why Sam is disappointed in me right now, I'm disappointed in me!! I have to make it up to my baby. I don't like her being upset with me. I made a few calls. A few arrangements. I made sure to get her clothes packed without her knowing because I'm slick like that.

She turned around "Daniel..." he started to smile. "I know how much you love nature, and you're always teasing me about not wanting to stay at a cabin for a week with the cast. This won't be a weekend, just for a weekend and certainly won't be with the cast. This is me apologizing—" she walked up to him, hugging him tightly. "Thank you" she whispered. She turned her head, kissing him multiple times on the cheek.

Samantha couldn't believe he was putting his fear of staying at a cabin to the side to make her happy. Daniel isn't into nature. He doesn't like bugs. He doesn't like anything flying at him. He gets scared easy which is entertaining to her. She started to her emotional, this man loves her too much. "Daniel..." she trailed off. "Don't start to get emotional on me now baby, we have a long romantic weekend. Get changed into hiking gear" he took out her suitcase from his trunk. Samantha waisted no time, she did what he asked. 30 minutes later they were walking the trail. "I can't believe you would do this for me" she told him. "Trust me, I'm literally like—crying on the inside" she giggled at him. "It shows how much you love me. How you will go all out for me, even if it means you getting out of your comfort zone" she said.

"I'd do anything for you, Sam. As a matter of fact..." he took her hand to stop her. He kneeled down, she giggled before getting on his back. She wrapped her arms around his collarbone, he held her legs before he squatted up and began to walk. "Alexis could never" he joked. "Daniel!" He laughed "am I lying?" She giggled "no comparison baby" he smiled before he took off running. "Daniel!" She screamed before laughing. He finally stopped "I felt like a bug was crawling up my leg" he told her. She rolled her eyes "my big baby" he laughed before walking the rest of the way. They got up to the top of a hill, seeing the city. "Oh my God. It's so beautiful" he stood behind her, wrapping his arm around her waist. "How did you find this place?" She looked over his shoulder. "I made a few calls" a smile formed on her face. "I must admit, this is beautiful"

Daniel was showing another side of him that she has never seen before. He was truly romantic. And again, going out of his way to do something that he is not really comfortable with. All because he loves her. All because he wants to show that he was truly sorry for getting so jealous and not believing her. It was so peaceful at the cabin. It was just them and nature. they got back just in time before the sunset. "Now what?" Samantha was so curious about what else he had in store for them. He took her hand with a grin on his face and walked them inside. Her eyebrows narrow in confusion when she saw food was made. Like a chef came and dropped off a meal they created, which they did. He loved surprising her. It was plant-based. Broccoli and Mac N Cheese casserole. She looked at him "are you sure you're not proposing?" He laughed.

After dinner they were both stuffed. "Baby, you have me so speechless" she told him. "That's me, every time I look at you. I'm speechless that I get to love you every day and night on and off set" she giggled. "I would like to use that campfire. Unless you're scared" she raised an eyebrow. "I'm already scared, Sam. Plus this is for you. I just have to suck up my fear, just so that I can make you happy" she grinned. He set up the campfire before they sat on a log outside next to each other. He had his arm wrapped around her. "I never want this night to end. This is just so... I'm so impressed. You have me loving you a lot more. I didn't think I could because it's already a lot and I mean a lot... but you facing your fear has got me feeling a type of way" he chuckled. "What kind of way Sam?" She looked down blushing. "I love how we're together, yet you still get shy around me on certain topics" he told her. "Well of course I get shy still, that'll never change. Just shows how happy and giddy inside. I love this feeling. I never want it to end" she was smiling at him. The sound of thunder came over them, seconds later it started to pour. "My hair!" She shouted, which he found hilarious. She got up and was about to run inside of the cabin but his hand caught hers. He stood up and kissed her passionately. The rain soaking her hair, no longer concerned her. She was too caught up in the kiss, the way he was making her feel.

They got inside, him closing the door behind him. Not breaking the kiss he picked her up, carrying her into the bedroom. The moment he entered the bedroom he sat her down.
