She was dead scared.
She hadn't felt this feeling in all her life, it felt strange.
She felt her heart ticking very fast in her head. Her hands were dripping water, which where her sweats and the temperature was freezing cold. Her legs were wobbly, she was surprised she could still walk. She couldn't feel her tongue and it felt like her body was walking but she wasn't moving. Her feet in her shoes was slippery, she could tell it was very sweaty too. She couldn't see her hair on her head, but she could feel her ponytail was standing straight, like it had been ironed. It was outright dread.
Someone was on the loose? Who?
Was it that man Jenny was talking about? She looked at Jenny, she could tell Jenny was also scared from the way she carried her self.
Lydia hoped it wasn't that same man.
She hoped it wasn't any man or woman.
In fact, she hoped it wasn't a murderer.
Brian wasn't her boyfriend or brother or friend or something, he was a stranger, a stranger she just knew today. But, she prayed he wasn't hurt.
They were halfway to the white house, when Lydia noticed they weren't complete.
"Rachael?"
"Where's Rachael?!" She asked, scared.
