"Lydia!"
"Lydia!"
"Lydia!"Lydia had ran for the beach. Brian was still here and she was out to find him. She wasn't going to stand around listening to Eric, she wasn't going to stand around while Brian and the rest of them where in possible danger, she wasn't going to stand around doing nothing, she wasn't going to stand around when the HE was lurking around. HE was a man alright, and a serial killer according to Eric, which was really bad, because man plus serial killer was compared to an elephant versus an ant - and she was metaphorically speaking, the ant.
She had looked around at everybody who were watching Fred and Eric yell at each other, even Rachael who was supposed to long since been at the hospital was inside the ambulance van, looking at the scene. Well, Lydia couldn't blame her; firstly, the scene was an interesting one and secondly, she couldn't possibly drive herself as the rest of the ambulance team were also busy watching the scene. And so Lydia, had taking it upon herself to save Brian and find the HE while the rest of them wasted their time.
She wondered who the HE was because HE had no name, but she knew that the HE would be very much older and stronger than her, which was really scary, but she kept running.
Obviously, HE got Brian, because Eric said he saw the man in question at the beach. She ran to the beach non stopping.
Red, Mark Jason, Jenny, Pearl, Jude and Lilly had followed behind her, but she had no clue as all her mind raised to the beach...to the He. She wouldn't deny she was a little bit scared. She didn't know what exactly she would do to the HE if she found what she didn't know exactly what she would see.
"Lydia where are you going to?!" Red had cried out but Lydia was far from hearing them. They all followed behind.
Lydia halted. Was that...? It was...! Was that not a foot track? She looked down at the foot track, it was at where the dead body of earlier had been. It was a little bit shabby, which meant it was old...it had been there. Her eyes grew wide as she started breathing again. She had been so scared and disorganized when she saw that dead body that she didn't see the foot track laying on the sand. And her heart sank to her ankle when she saw the foot track trailed forward. She followed. Not thinking, she ran.
She halted again, confused. The foot track was gone. There wasn't any foot track again, all she could see was the tide and wave of the beach washing the beach sand into the river. Then, suddenly goosebumps swelled all over her body. What if the HE went into the river? There was no point in arguing that the foot track belonged to the bogus man.
She looked forward at the river. Looking back one last time at Red and the others who were running frantically towards her, she entered the river.
"Lydia stop!!!" Rachael had screamed out of her lungs.
But Lydia had dived into the river. "Lydia!!!!"
She could hear her name faintly, so she knew they weren't far. Darkness. Blur. Blue. Dark blue. She couldn't see anything deep inside the river. Then, a track of blood.......
