-Ethan pov-

Welcome to Xenon.

That's how everyone is introduced to this lifestyle. That's how I was brought it, that's how Grayson was brought in, but that's not how she should be brought in.

Blair.

I couldn't help but be attracted to her. She was hot, really hot. I wanted to scope her up and carry her away from her. From the drugs. From the alcohol. From the pain.

But I couldn't.

I don't want her to get involved with me. I'm not good enough for her. I'm just as bad as her brother.

I watched as Jace introduced Blair to everyone. She just nodded, clearly uncomfortable in her dirty clothes. I scoffed, couldn't Jace at least let her clean up first? Before introducing her to her kidnappers?

He led her over to where me and Grayson were sitting.

He smirked. "And these are the twins..." He looked back and forth between us, stupid dick doesn't even know who's who. He scratched his head. "We just...um...call them both Dolan."

Blair looked at me, a flash of recognition on her face.

I cleared my throat, standing up and holding out my hand. "I'm Ethan, and that's Grayson."

Grayson gave a little wave from his seat on the old couch.

She gave a small smile, and shook my hand. "Nice to formally meet you then."

I kept a straight face. "You too."

Jace gave me a dirty look, then smirked again, he put his hand on my shoulder. "This one here—."

"Ethan." I interrupted.

He rolled his eyes. "Yeah, whatever, but he's going to be looking out for you, so if you have any questions just ask him."

Blair nodded.

Jace smiled. "Okay, I have to go do some things, so Dolan 1." He pointed at me. "Go show her to her room, and Dolan 2." He pointed at Grayson. "Come with me."

He walked away, Grayson stood up and rolled his eyes before following him.

We stood there awkwardly, she just looked down at her feet.

I cleared my throat. "Uh okay, this way."

She followed me out of the meeting hall.

We walked in silence down the hallways toward the sleeping areas.

"Sooo." Blair said suddenly. "Jace said I can ask you anything..." She trailed off.

I chuckled. "You can ask anything, but if I answer everything, we'll both be in trouble."

She sighed. "I just want to know what my brother has to do with all of this."

"Believe me, if I could I would tell you, but Jace gave me strict instructions not too."

"Why do you listen to him? You clearly don't like him." I didn't look at her, but I could feel her eyeing me.

"Because if I listen to him I can get out of here faster."

Her voice perked up. "You were kidnapped too?"

I shook my head, and turned to look at her. "No, no I was not. And I'm sorry you were."

She looked at me with sad eyes.

I restrained myself from giving her a hug.

"So." I gestured to the door we stopped at. "This is your room."

She opened the door to the small, windowless room containing a bed, dresser, and a small desk with a lamp and a chair.

She walked in. "Wow, it's great." She said sarcastically.

I pointed to the other door in the room. "There's a small bathroom in there, should be soap and stuff. And clothes in the dresser."

She sat down on the squeaky bed. "How long will I be here?"

"However long Jace says."

She frowned. "Why can't I just go home?"

I gave a half smile. "If it were up to me, you wouldn't even be here."

Her eyebrows furrowed. "Why do you say things like that? Isn't this your gang?"

I chuckled. "And now it's yours." I walked out of the room. "Jace wants the door locked, I'll bring you dinner in a few hours, but for now..." I pulled a bagged sandwich out of my pocket and tossed it to her.

She caught it and opened her mouth to say something, but I pulled the door shut and locked it.

Locking her in a dark room for the second time.
