I sat there in silence, this can't be real.

I have to be in a dream.

I pinched myself.

Nope, not dreaming.

"Are you okay, honey?" Ivy asked.

I slowly nodded.

I'm not okay, the opposite of okay, actually.

"I know it's a lot to take in, but—." Freya started.

I interrupted her. "A lot to take in?"

All of the girls wouldn't meet my eyes.

"I just found out that my brother pissed off a huge gang - that has multiple locations." My voice rose as I continued talking. "And his punishment is that we both were kidnapped and are now forced to work for this gang in order to gain our freedom! So, yes, it's a lot to take it!"

I was literally shaking with anger. As if my life hadn't been hard enough, now I was a slave, because my idiot twin brother.

The room was silent for a few seconds, then Ivy started clapping.

I looked at her confused.

She smirked. "If you keep up that fire honey, you'll survive just fine."

I nodded, afraid if I said anything else she would see that the fire was now gone.

Freya smiled. "And you've got us, just stay away from the guys and stick with us and you'll have a great three years!"

The other three girls snickered.

It was clear that they wanted to be here, and I clearly did not.

I rubbed my temple before saying. "What did he do?"

The girls all got quiet again and looked at each other, they seemed to have a mental conversation before Ivy spoke up. "I don't think you want to know Blair."

"Of course I want to know!" I snapped. "Whatever he did landed me here for 3 years, so I think I have the right to know!"

She cleared her throat. "Your brother slept with Jace's girlfriend."

What the hell?

I rushed out of my room to find the source of the scream. It was an odd noise to hear, Jace kept up a strict rule of low voices, he claimed that the louder we are, the more likely we are to be caught.

I run down the hall to find Corbin and one of the newer guys, who's name I could care less about, hauling a hooded hostage down the hallway.

From the looks and sound of it, she was a girl.

The girl continued screaming and crying, and Corbin cursed.

"What the fuck is going on?" I asked.

Corbin looked up at me relieved. "The chloroform wore off as we pulled up, so we had to bring her in the south entrance."

"So you were just going to bring her through the whole building screaming?" I reached down and pulled one of the girl's socks off of her shoeless feet.

I dropped it into the new guys hand. "Stuff this in her mouth."

He looked at it with disgust.

Corbin sighed. "I'll do it myself." He took the sock and stuffed it into her mouth, effectively shutting her up.

"So who is she?" I asked, my hands were shaking so I stuffed them into my pockets.

We started walking down the hall again.

"I'm not sure, but apparently she knows something about the rival gang Jace was going on about." Corbin answered.

"Oh." I said quietly, I wasn't going to say it out loud but I hate when they kidnapped girls for information, it's sick.

I stopped at my door. "Ok, well I'll see you later."

Corbin patted me on the back. "Yup, and thanks for the help."

"Yeah..." I quickly went into my room, shutting the door tightly behind me. My breaths became quicker as I felt my heart race.

I hate doing dirty work for Jace.

I try to calm my breathing, visions of the horrible things I've done to people flashing in my brain.

I reached for my notebook, clenching my pencil in my sweaty hand as I started to write, my words scribbled on the page.

I continued taking deep breaths, letting my emotions out through words.
