-Ethan pov-
I quickly took a shower and changed into clean clothes.
"Dude, what's your problem? Just go take a nap you just got back," Grayson chided.
I shook my head. "I need to go see Blair."
Grayson pressed his lips together. "On a second thought you do need to go see Blair."
My head shot up. "What? Why, what happened while I was gone?"
He shrugged. "I don't know she wouldn't tell me, but I have a feeling it has something to do with Jace."
Shit.
I pulled on my shoes and ran out the door and down the hallway to her room. I knocked, didn't wait for an answer, and opened the door. Blair was laying on her bed but she quickly jumped up to embrace me.
I hugged her tightly. "I missed you," I whispered into her ear.
"I missed you more," she said lightly.
I gently set her down, studying her face.
Her eyes had bags under them and were slightly red, as if she had been crying off and on. Her hair was thrown up in a messy bun, which I thought looked hot, but I could tell she hadn't taken a shower in a few days.
"What happened while I was gone?" I whispered.
She took a deep breath. "Jace—he kissed me..."
"What?" Anger coursed through my veins. "He kissed you?"
She nodded. "I pushed him off of me and ran, that's when I bumped into Grayson.."
I clenched my fists. "When did this happen?"
"The day you left," she mumbled.
"So you just dealt with the creep the whole time I was gone? You should have told Grayson, he-," I rambled.
He placed her hand on my arm. "I was fine Ethan, I pretended to be sick, Freya brought me food and I haven't seen Jace since it happened."
I took a deep breath. "Okay..." I thought for a few seconds, the impulsive side of me wanted to run out of that room and kill Jace, but I knew I would never leave Xenon if I did that. "I don't want you to be alone with him ever."
She nodded. "I agree."
"And if he does anything else I'll kill him." I clenched my jaw.
Her eyes widened. "No, Ethan! Please don't do anything stupid, not over me."
"I do a lot of stupid things for you,"
I whispered, placing my hand on her cheek. She smiled, placing her hand over top of mine. "I do too," she whispered.
I leaned forward and kissed her.

I heard a knock on the door, I jumped in my seat, startled.
"Come in!" I called, my hands shaking as I closed the small book and placed it on the table next to me.
Corbin opened the door. "Hey, we need your help at the loading dock."
I stood up. "Okay.."
We walked out of the room and down the hallway, toward the loading dock. I know I shouldn't read Ethan's personal journal, but I feel like I have to.
Most of it is story stories and poems, a lot of the newer ones about Blair. But Ethan also documents all of the horrible things he does for the gang. It's terrifying to read, and hard to believe my brother could do some on those things...hurt a person like that. But I have to read it, to make sure he's okay.
I don't know how he lives with the guilt.
Later that week:

"Grayson will start packing the car, and I'll go back here to grab the last bag, which will be empty. On my way back to the car stop at Blair's room." Ethan paused, looking up at me and Grayson to see if we were still listening, he continued. "Blair you'll get into the empty duffel bag with your book bag and I'll carry you out to the car."
Grayson grunted. "They'll check the bags."
Ethan scoffed. "No they won't, why would they?"
"But what if they do Ethan? You're not thinking of the consequences!" Grayson argued.
"I'll just say I snuck into your bag."
I interjected.Ethan sighed. "They won't believe that."
"Yes they will, I snuck into your bag while you were both loading the car," I said.
The twins looked at each other.
"I guess it's all we got," Grayson eventually said.
"Ok, good." Ethan stood up. "Then we all leave in 5 weeks."

"Why haven't you told her?" Grayson yelled.
"Stop yelling," I said calmly.
He rolled his eyes. "I have all the right to be yelling! Why didn't you tell her about Cameron?!"
"I didn't think it was an issue," I said, starting to get angry.
"It is an issue!"
"I don't want her to think differently of me!"
"She'll already think differently of you if you keep hiding this from her any longer!" He argued.
I slammed my fists down on the table. "Grayson don't tell me how I should go about my relationship with Blair."
Grayson shook his head. "All I think is that you should be honest Ethan, that's all I'm saying."
He stood up and walked into his bedroom.
I sighed, looking down at my watch, time to go see Blair.
She's going to think I'm a monster.
