💖 Majima falls easily, but it's not often he falls HARD for someone
💖 It's sad really. He's been used and abused pretty much his entire life, so he doesn't really recognise what true love feels like. His love for Makoto felt a bit one-sided and his marriage to Mirei was turbulent
💖 You will start off as friends first 99.9% of the time. He definitely has to connect with someone before he falls in love with them
💖 If he's crushing on someone, he isn't too bothered. Late night lovers come and go, he's been with enough of them to get by. But if he falls for someone, he can't get them out of his head
💖 Will initially try to avoid you and push you away. He can't be his cheery self and pretend he doesn't want to jump your bones
💖 Takes weeks, months for him to admit it to himself. Nevermind to you. He is very closed off at the idea of having a partner because he thinks he's undeserving of one and he'll make them leave
💖 If he does see you, he steals glances. He might be a little difficult to speak to
💖 He will ask anybody on a date under the guise it will just be some hot one night stand. If he is in love with someone or crushing on them, he will not ask until he's completely ready
💖 Snoops around to see if you're seeing anyone, where you go, who your friends are. He just wants to subconsciously accept his feelings and fit in
💖 If you ask him on a date first, he will accept all cool and calm but panic on the day
💖 Of you're well known or famous, he will not ask you without LOTS of prompting (coercing) from his friends
💖 Becomes a little infatuated. Daydreams about marrying you, having kids, how you fuck, if he could even satisfy you. Dreams up all sorts of scenarios in his head, both wholesome and spicy
💖 Will always be close by if you find any trouble, but won't show himself if possible. (he's like your friendly neighbourhood spiderman)
💖 Will find reasons to hang out near you or say hi. Maybe you work nearby and he drops round or he knows your routine. You will see more of him
💖 When he does confess, it's cute. He gets all blushy and stutters
💖 If he confesses to you when you're injured or have found trouble, it's very rushed and he apologises a million times for it
💖 If you're already seeing someone, he will make an assessment. Are you being treated right? Are they a nice person? Do they love you? If they don't tick one of those boxes, you can bet your ass he'll intervene from the sidelines

💔 If he doesn't/cannot confess, or he does and you reject him, he will think about it for a long time and take a while to get over it
💔 He might disappear. You might see less of him. But you'll always be under his protection
💔 May struggle to stay friends, but he won't have any ill will towards you

💞 If he confesses and you accept, he's unsure about it to start with. Are you joking? He might need a lot of encouragement
💞 His attitude switches up pretty quickly. He's showering you with affection. You love him! Someone actually loves him!!
💞 24 hour protection at all times. Nothing will happen to you, and if it does it will be rectified very fast
💞 All his friends tease him. "OF COURSE THEY SAID YES!"
💞 Still takes things very slow. He doesn't want to push you away. If you instigate things and he's comfortable, fine. But don't expect Majima to be instigating sex, dates or marriage until he's completely certain you love him too
💞 Is very happy, but doesn't always act it to begin with. He's very tormented inside and may keep it from you, so he can be a handful some days
💞 If you already know his friends, it makes it easier for him because the chances are they've accepted you before he has accepted himself
💞 Only marries someone he can genuinely see himself making his life work with

🤷‍♀️ Personal hc: I think Majima would go for someone who can beat him at his own game. Maybe they can beat him in a fight or refuse to take his shit. They ask where he's going and kick up a fuss. He doesn't hide things from them (usually) because he knows they can hold their own
