Truce

The next half an hour was rough.The room was filled with tension as my Mate kept a close eye on me from across the room with all of the doors blocked by his pack members.

Me and my brothers talked as they tried to ignore all of Ryder's packs stern glares.We talked about how my aunts flight had been severely delayed so she would not yet be back like I had thought.We could not talk about too much without exposing ourselves so we kept our conversations simple

I had to reassure my brothers that I was alright,if I had told them how badly this really was and how much it was upsetting me they would for sure take me away and cause a war with my Mate and his pack.

With everything going on I didn't need one more thing on my plate.And even though me and my mate are still not getting along I have started to come to the conclusion that perhaps I am safer with my mate and his pack than anything.I had to think about my people.I had to stay hidden from Dereck in Order for my power to grow while I train

,Yet I knew if I did not get my mate to begin to trust me he would not take off these cuffs.I know that for me not to be able to protect myself is dangerous and I need to be training as soon as possible.My brothers were right.

As me and my brothers talked for a while longer my mate Cleared his throat interrupting

"Merina"he spoke"I have some business to take care of soon,it's time for your brothers to get going"He spoke as a matter of fact

I narrowed my eyes at him"they have barley been here an hour"I said annoyed

My mate lifted his head"Thats long enough, don't push your luck.It's time for them to go.Say your goodbyes and my men will escort them off of my territory"He spoke seriously

I huff in anger as I look back at my brothers sadly"I'll be sure to see you soon"I said with tears"take care of eachother"I spoke as my brothers leaned in for a group hug and held me tight in the middle

"Take care of yourself baby sister,We will see you as soon as we possibly can"My oldest brother Zane spoke as he kissed my fore head"you have my number,call us if you need anything,If your Mate even lets you"he says as he looks over at my mate unpleased

He growls"Time to go"He says narrowing his eyes

Ryder's two Brothers walk over to my brothers and lead them out of the house with two more of his Betas following along behind

My breath hitched as they walk away as I feel a sudden lump in my throat

I was separated from my family,and it broke my heart

I wiped away my tears as i hear my mate begin to make his way over to me

I turn to look at him crossed.

He looks down at me with his piercing  eyes"Why do you look unpleased?I let your brothers come here to see you"he asks me as his eyes pierce into me

I slowly sigh bawling my fists.I walk away from my mate and grab the box on the couch that my brothers had given me with my mothers spell book and a few other things not bothering to say a word.I  begin to make my way back up to the room as I remember from walking down.

I pass several guards on the way up who do not dare look my way.
