Merinas P.O.V

After English I had two more classes before lunch,i have never been somewhere where people were so rude,Everywhere i went i would get the nastiest looks from the girls here,Whispering about me as i walked.

I kept my head held high and ignored the nasty comments made by the human girls as I rolled my eyes at them.

Human school was quite different,I was always home schooled so this was unknown territory to me,The students were loud and disruptive and joking all of the time,I wonder if that was how mermaids and mermen behave in mer school aswell.

I was in chemistry and it was almost time for lunch and I was rather relieved because I was very hungry.

The bell rang,I collected my things and followed everyone to lunch.

I found my brothers and hugged them happily

"How were your classes brothers?"I asked them

They rolled they're eyes"Boring,I would take being on palace patrol   any day over this,at least there is some adventure"Said Finn

Ashton nodded in agreement with Zane

I rolled my eyes back as we walked to sit down in an empty table in the corner avoiding people

"I hate this school,Everyone is so rude,I wish we could just go back home"i told them

Finn scowled"Merina,These are humans,they're kind are not one for manors.We can not go home unless you want to risk getting captured by Dereck and risk the saftey of the mer people "

I sighed"of course not"

"You need to gain more power by practicing from mother's spell book so you can defeat Austin once and for all,Do Not worry sister,gain your strength,And we will be back at our sweet kingdom In no time"Said Zane with his hand on my shoulder reassuringly

I smiled nodding"Your right"I told him

Out of the blue I could feel those eyes on me again,I looked up to see the same boy from the first class I was in-staring at me intensely

This time though he was sitting with many more people,and they had all seemed to be giving me side glances.

He was sitting with a few more men and a few girls as well who seemed to look like they were together with a few of the boys

I looked at them nervously not liking they're gaze on me,As soon as the guy  with the green eyes noticed, he looked back at the people he was sitting with harshly and they quickly looked away from me

That's strange

"I'm going to run to the ladies room,I'll be right back"I told my brothers as they nodded

I quickly made my way to look for the little mermaids room avoiding all of the looks from everyone

I just needed a moment to myself,this entire day was very stressful,and I'm used to helping run a kingdom!

I made my way down a large open hallway,all these halls looked the same!I tried to remember where I had seen one before but I was interrupted When I began to hear footsteps behind me which made me walk faster

I could hear the footsteps coming closer and closer and I turned around and ran into something warm and hard
