prologue

Guys like I have said,This is a freshly started remake of the other story I wrote when I was younger,I'm keeping the family and the prologue the same,Except for the fact that there will be 3 bothers instead of 4,I might change some things but I promise I will try my best to keep it in a way that you will not be confused,I will try to post as much as I can,Please be patient.

I am Princess Merina,daughter of King Zannder,And Queen Serina.I have 3 brothers ,Zane,Ashtin,And Fintin,.We are all 1 year Apart.

Im One of 4 most powerfull mermaids in the The world.Mermaids have powers ,like creating water tricks and small things like talking to aniamls,But i have Strong and rare powers,My mom said that there is nothing i cant do,But im still learning.So i had a Princessy life enough that wasn't exactly an Avrege normal mer life and all that ,but one day my whole life changed.It was when a small kingdom  in the same ocean declared war.the co kings name was Austin,my father made him King near the neighboring ocean thinking it would give my father some help with maintaining such large waters,my father trusted him very much,but we soon found out that he wanted me to marry the his son-Prince Dereck,.Ive known Dereck since I was a merling,but he grew up to be A real snobby,Abnoxious,Conceded jerk

His Father wanted me to marry this guy,my father thought it was a great idea because he thinks betrothal was a good choice so that dereck could protect me.Most of the time im on total lock down.Apprently a lot of Mers want to use my Powers.Thats why the other 3 Powerfull mers like me are hidden away where no one could ever find them for they're own safety as well as others. who knows what would happen if that power fell into the wrong hands.And I know what your thinking about my parents,that they dont love me because I'm not hidden away where crazy Evil mermaids can't find me,but actually my parents do love me,they love me so much that they didn't lock me away,they let me be free, well as free as I can be in the kingdom that's about it .

After a while i found out that dereck only wanted me for my powers so he could take them away from me and rule the oceans with his father useing my power,After My dad found out what was happening it was too late.They created a rebellious army to fight against my kingdom.they wanted me and they will do anything to get me,my parents sent me off undercover to land with my 3 brothers,in Some place called new york.I was taken away from my school,from the only 4 freinds i had,my mom and dad,and most of all,My home,My kingdom

Flashback

It was the night of the royal ball where my father would Anounce  my betrothal to prince Derek Infront of the kingdom

One of the palace Gaurds swam with me to the ball room where everyone awaited me

My heart raced as the silk of my dress flowed gracefully behind me as I swam

I had no choice In the matter.I dream of marrying for love but since I was a merling my mother has made me well aware of my fate of marrying according to her and fathers choosing within rank of royalty.

she tells me it is for the good of me and my kingdom that my merpeople have a good king  and good husband by my side
