The classroom was silent after Jungkook's videotaped confession, but only for a second did the screen stay black. Taehyung blinked in surprise when it lit back up, and his giggles flooded through the speakers. It was the very first scene they filmed in the cafeteria. Taehyung smiled at the video of himself where his hands were out in front of him, miming a scene cutter.
"Taehyung and Jungkook's video project, take one!"
Emotions rushed through to his bones, but he wasn't sure what he was supposed to be feeling. A little bit of everything, perhaps? The scene quickly flipped to another of the same day. Taehyung was sprawled over the top of the cafeteria table, his head hanging off carelessly and his hands raised in a posed shape.
"Taehyung and Jungkook's video project, take three!"
The screen changed again. Taehyung was still center-focused as he yelled, "Taehyung and Jungkook's video project, take six!"
Jungkook suddenly appeared onscreen with a rushed jump and a loud, "And...ACTION!"
"Jungkook!" Onscreen, Taehyung whined, shoving his partner aside. "You're blocking my light," he pouted teasingly, making an exaggerated motion to fluff his hair.
A few snickers of amusement filled the classroom, and Taehyung felt his face immediately flush. It was a good sign, though, he reasoned. Hopefully, Miss Lee would be just as entertained and consider that while grading their final project.
"You're reading Twilight!?" Jungkook's harsh voice ripped through the speakers and sent a shiver down Taehyung's spine. He focused back on-screen, where Jungkook had taken the novel from his grasp and continue to chastise him. "Men don't read fairytale romances."
A few startled gasps filled the room as the video showcased Jungkook ripping the book's cover in half before throwing it aside, leaving Taehyung to meekly scrambled after it.
Jungkook's loud voice filled the room once again as the screen played blooper reels from that same scene. They were muted, allowing Jungkook to speak over them successfully.
"It took my partner and I eight takes to film that scene. Several of our takes won't be shown on screen because we screwed up or didn't care for the outcome. That's the beauty of film; if you mess up, you get to film again until you get it right. In real life, you only get one take."
"You really don't remember!?"
Taehyung's eyes widened at the vulnerability he was showing on-screen. He could immediately recognize that the clip playing wasn't one with a script.
