You're so attractive that you made me forget my pickup line!
~♡~
The car ride back to the university was silent. Even Ji had enough sense to keep her normally talkative self quiet. Under normal circumstances Seokjin may have appreciated the peaceful drive, but the unspoken tension made him long for the loud, chaotic drive they had had the day before.
It was a drunken mistake, that was all. His hands gripped the steering wheel tighter at the memory; it wasn't a big deal. He had talked it out with Namjoon that night and then again after breakfast the next morning, no feelings were involved, it was just a silly dare. Besides, Seokjin couldn't deny how attractive he was, of course the younger would want to kiss him.
He just couldn't wait to get home and swoop Lisa up into his arms. He smiled at the thought of his wife. She probably wouldn't get home from her sister's until the next day, but when she got back he would have to make her a nice meal. His eyes flickered up to his rear-view mirror and immediately they found Namjoon in the very backseat. The younger looked deep in thought with his cheek pressed against the window. Seokjin smiled despite himself, the student did seem to stir something deep inside of him...he shook the thought away and focused back on the road.
It was only after Seokjin had dropped them off at the dorms that anyone dared to speak.
"So um, that was awkward," Taehyung mumbled, breaking the silence.
Namjoon looked at his feet, "It's only awkward if you make it awkward," he murmured.
"I, for one," Hobi began to say, stepping between his fellow students, "said that it was probably a bad idea to drink but nobody listened to me."
Ji sighed and placed a hand on her friend's shoulder, "Hobi," she said.
"Yeah?"
"You literally brought the liquor and suggested the game of Truth or Dare."
"Well yeah, but I still said it was a bad idea!" the redhead defended. Ji rolled her eyes and smacked him.
"It's true, he did say that," Yoongi confirmed. His sister turned and hit him as well.
"Anyone else?" she asked coyly, her hand still raised.
"I mean, shouldn't Namjoon be getting smacked since he's the one that acted like an idiot?" Jungkook suggested.
"Why are you still here?" Jimin asked coldly. Jungkook stared at him for a moment before grabbing his bag and storming back into the dormitory.
"You don't have to be so-" Yoongi began to say, but was cut off by his best friend attempting to defend his actions.
"He kissed back," Namjoon blurted out. "I mean, you all saw that right."
"He was drunk and confused," Jimin defended with grit teeth, "my brother loves his wife. They have a storybook life and the last thing they need is a homewrecker like you thinking you're someone special because of a drunken kiss that literally meant nothing." Jimin grabbed his bag, not waiting for a response, and headed back to the dorms.
