The uneasiness after you went away
I can't fade away the feeling
that one day u ll enter
and you ll brighten up the sky
like you'd always do,
with your laughter,
with your sunshine smile,
with your stupid stories,
with your uncanny smirks
I always wondered,
how a person can can be so blunt,
and so enriched with excitement
I'd find myself smiling
and being stupid around you
I was never a fan of vulnerability
but with you,
I always was vulnerable little girl
As you were always a child by heart
I lost the gem of an uncle
but the loss doesn't feel like a loss
You left in me the very essence of life
You taught me,
How to be the happiest and silliest
even when the life pushes to the edge
I needed him, I still need him

Hello, lovelies. Happy Ramadan. I know, I stopped posting in January. I had other major works to do. I've written this poem for my uncle who died young, a week ago (may he rest in peace)
Also, I've news for y'all, I got first prize in poetry genre of ThePeerlessCommunity . I'm humbled.
