My Savior

A crowd surrounded me, boring their eyes into my soul
Shivered by the coldness, the lava of horror inside me
As I closed my eyes, I realized the presence beside me
Your people came, made me feel secured until you enter

Black suite, black tie, white shirt, were you my savior?
The courtesy in those eyes, the fear in my heart, the hesitation in my voice; moon was watching me from above
I talked with him all the time about how I wanted to be saved
Did he acknowledge, how much I needed to be saved?

The positivity in his replies, the confidence in his energy, the shine in his aura, calming me every night to sleep
The birds, the roses, the plants, everyone witnessed how radiant was my savior
The calling of sweet prison, stopped exciting me
My heart on a brick, colliding with soft whistles only
