Right after Cassandra left, the doors of the room were swung open. You looked to the door and saw Daniela enter the room.

"Mother is finished with the meeting. She wants me to take you to one of her private chambers" she said, not waiting for your answer and walking away.

You quickly stood up, putting everything back to where it belongs to and follow Daniela. It was quiet until she broke the peaceful silence.

"Have you ever seen the insides of a human? Splashing around? The warm and sweet taste of their blood?" she asked as she continued to walk down the hallway.

"No...I certainly did not.." you nervously answered her.

"Would you like to?" She asked turning around with, what seems to be a human liver, in her hand.
You backed away for a few feet and shook your head.
"No. No, thank you. That's a kind offer but I'm sadly full already..."

She smiled and licked her teeth as she bit into the liver. Devouring it in seconds.
"The liver is my favourite part of the human body, it has such a sweet taste~" she said, continuing to walk down the hall.
"Really..? Oh...wow. I sure am missing out on eating one..." you answered her, not knowing what she even wanted to hear.
"Its also pretty fun cutting up a human body. Their helpless screams as I cut open their skin, or bite into them!" she went on with her obsession of torture, which made you really uncomfortable.

As you listened to her rambling about torture, you heard some kind of music fill the end of the hall. Daniela stopped at the door where the music came from and opened it.

"Mother. I deliver you the Maiden" she said and let you in. You looked around the room your Countess was in. The room was nicely decorated, weird, but nice. Something big caught your eye and it was a piano.

'I wonder who in the Castle could play such a beautiful instrument...' you thought.

"Thank you my dear. You can go now" you heard Lady Dimitrescu answer her daughter. Daniela disappeared in her swarm and left you alone with your Countess.

Lady Dimitrescu was sitting at a small table, smoking her long pipe and writing something down inside a book.

You didn't want to disturb her and looked around the room. Since the piano caught your eye, you walked towards it. It was a bit dusty on the tiles and it had scratches on the side of its wood, but it still looked functional.

"Do you know how to play it?" Lady Dimitrescu asked you, finishing what she was writing down. You shook your head.
"No. I don't my Lady"
Lady Dimitrescu stood up from the table and laid down her long pipe. She walked towards the piano, sitting down infront of its tiles.
"Come here, I'll teach you" she pat her lap and looked you deep in the eyes.

"You don't have to my Lady! Really...it's not that important to a Maiden.." you said.
"Who cares what a Maiden can and cannot do? They never live long enough to experience these kind of things anyways, so come and take the chance~" she answered you.

'Well that's a way to answer...' you walked up to her and sat yourself up on her lap. She took off her gloves and placed them on the piano.

"Put your hands on mine" she commanded. You did as she said and felt her cold yet soft hands in your palm.
"Now all you have to do, is just feel the pattern I play" she placed her and your hands on the tiles and she started to play a slow tune. It was strange, letting your Countess play the piano for you, as you held her hands softly.
Thinking about it, made your heartbeat race again. You tried to concentrate on the tune that she was playing and tried to calm yourself.

As she continued on playing she got closer to your ear,
"Don't think that I can't feel your heartbeat~ it's making me hungry for more of your delicious blood~" she whispered and slightly licked your ear. You backed away a bit, now looking to the tiles all flustered.

She finished playing the tune and you let go of her hands. Your Countess though, held onto one of your hands and looked at you.
"Your hands are so warm Y/N~, it would be truly a shame if something happened to your delicious blood.." she let go of your hand and put back on her gloves. You didn't know what to answer so you just smiled, nervously.

"Now this wasn't the reason I wanted you here" she started.
"There was something with your dream, you mentioned a being with 6 wings?" your Countess asked you, looking down to you on her lap.
"Yes...I don't know who or what that was..but I remember some people calling them, Mother Miranda.." I answered. Her eyes widened for a second, she then shook her head.

"Well, my dear. I can tell you that, Mother Miranda exists. And that those dreams are completely normal when you're here in the Village and the Castle" you were confused, more then before.

"You see, Mother Miranda protects the humans in the village and they tend to have dreams of her. Everyone does." She explained.
"But...I don't remember being in that village" you thought for a second and then remembered that part of your dream where you were coughing up blood somewhere, which might be the Village.

"That's why I said, that everyone tends to have dreams of Mother Miranda. If you can't bring a prayer to her, a dream is all you can do, to please her" she put you down from her lap and went to the record player to stop the music that was playing.

You sat there for a while, confused and with more questions.
"There's nothing you need to worry about, Y/N" your Countess said walking back towards you and lifting your face towards hers.

"The only thing you need to worry about though is to keep that delicate blood of yours, fresh for me~"
