Chapter 25

The slight smell of smoke woke you up.

You opened your eyes and gently rubbed them to look around.

You saw Lady Dimitrescu wanting to leave the room, but she saw that you were awake and stopped.

"Good morning my dear" she smiled.

She was holding her long pipe and took a smoke.

"I hope you slept well~"

You sat yourself up in the bed and felt your back hurt a bit, other then that. Your night was great.

"Yes, I did. I hope you also did" you smiled at her while trying to massage your own back. She caught on and walked towards you, sitting down on the bed and looked at you.

"Turn around" she commanded.

You were startled and confused.

"Uhm....why exac-" she cut you off.

"Just do as I say."

You nodded and turned your back towards her.

"Hold this for me, will you?" she handed you her long pipe and removed her gloves to massage your back. Her hands were as cold as ever and it gave you a chill down your spine.

She gently squeezed your back and then pat it afterwards, the tense muscles on your back started to relax and you felt a wave of relief. She then took of her hat and hugged you from the back, burying her face in your neck.

You felt your neck area getting warmer and warmer, even though she has no ounce of warmth in her body. You realised that she took a bite from your neck to take a drink from your blood.

Alcina chugged every single blood cell, that was flowing out of your neck, into her own body. After she finished she stayed in place,

"My daughters are going to go hunting today, I want you to go with Cassandra. She can teach you a few good hunting tricks~" Lady Dimitrescu took her long pipe from you and took another smoke.

You were confused and wanted to ask her something but she took your face and pressed her lips against yours, releasing the smoke she just took inside your mouth.

As she pulled back you started coughing and took a few deep breaths.

"Ah, I see you are quite the healthy one~" she caressed your cheek.

"No wonder your blood is so tasty~"

'Well you just destroyed it by letting me inhale that smoke bomb of yours...'

You looked at her a bit mad for making you inhale that big hatch of a smoke she took.

"I never got the chance to get to know  myself in this Castle..." you answered and tried to get rid of the smoky smell inside of you.

Lady Dimitrescu looked kind of sad,

"I apologise for taking that chance away from you" she took her hand away from your cheek and wanted to leave.

You felt bad and stopped her,

"Don't apologise. I was a Maiden, it wasn't one of my priorities to explore myself. I apologise" you took her hand and gently squeezed it.

Her eyes gained a small sparkle and you saw her blush a little. She burnt out her long pipe and took you closer to her.

"I want you to take care of Cassandra when you go out hunting with her" she started.

'Why am I supposed to take care of an unnatural being who's stronger then me??'

"Take care of her like a mother would" she finished.
