Chapter 43

It was quiet. There was no sound anywhere. Not even your own thoughts.

"Am I, dead? Or am I dying?" you looked around the empty space you were in. The silence filled you with fear, it was scaring you. You didn't plan on dying, you didn't want to die. All you wanted was to go back to Alcina and her daughters, you couldn't even finish the book Daniela wanted you to read. Angie wanted to bake with you and Donna, then the sudden memory of Angies death appeared right in front of you. Her body dissolved and Mother Miranda looked at you, stepping closer to you. You took a few steps back, feeling uneasy in her presence.

'She's dead, how's this possible...'

She smiled and stroke your face,

"You have killed me Y/N, that's true. But I will always be watching, no matter in what form" she now grabbed your face and took a closer look at your face.

"I'll make sure you will never wake up again, I gave you immortality and I can take it away from you" her grip around your face tightened and she lifted her other hand. Before she could do anything to you, you quickly grabbed her hand to stop her.

"And I'll make sure that you're coming with me, so you can't harm anyone any longer!" you slapped her other hand away from your face and pushed her away. She dissapeared and her laughter echoed all around you, making you hold your ears to quiet it down, but it didn't work. You felt more and more panic built up inside of you, the bright empty room you were in started to darken.

"Giving up already? Poor girl~" her voice continued to echo.

You didn't listen and tried to calm yourself down by holding your necklace and humming the melody Alcina always hummed to you. You tried to ignore the room which just got darker and darker.

'I'm not going to die here. I have to get out..'

Her laughter started to stop and the room went pitch black, you were all alone now. You didn't see anything, so you didn't bother to even open your eyes. You laid on the floor and felt your tears roll down, memories of you and Alcina flashed before your eyes, including memories of you and her daughters. A bunch of other memories with them flashed before your eyes.

'I don't want to die...'

You wished to be in her arms now, she would've wiped your tears off right away and gave you kisses afterwards, but this time you were alone, dying. You started to lose hope of waking up, your breath lessened and you felt your consciousness slowly shut down.

'I guess this is it' you smiled to yourself, hugging the necklace tightly, quietly crying as the darkness consumed you.

Suddenly, a quiet singing voice caught your attention. You opened your eyes and looked around the darkness.

'This voice..' you stood up and tried your best to listen to it. Then you remembered something.

>Fine. Fine. I'll sing for you later<

Alcinas voice echoed through your head, the singing became clearer and clearer and a sudden light appeared above you. It started to grow as you tried to reach it, making the light blind your eyes, but you didn't care, you had to reach it, you had to. A hand grabbed you and pulled you down when you got closer to the light. You looked down and saw Miranda.

"You're not going anywhere!" she hissed. You kicked her off of you and slapped her,

"You'll be the one staying here, you crazy witch!" you quickly turned back to the light and touched it.

"No! No! Nooo! You can't! You won't!" her tantrum went quieter and stopped not soon after.

You then started to feel your body again, a soft and familiar bed was beneath your body. The song was clear now, the voice belonged to your lover. You felt her cold hand stroking your face, she had such a pain in her voice. You slowly lifted your hand and touched her face, making her shriek back.
