Chapter 26
Addie's P.O.V
"I'm home!" I yelled, opening the door. I was panting slightly from running frantically up the long drive and my pendant bounced against my thudding lungs- and heart that was beating like a captured bird in a cage after I had kissed Theo on the cheek.
"Addie!" Aunt Liz sounded relieved. "Finally!" She held the phone to her mouth. "It's alright, she's home..."
"Addie!" Kirstie came flying over and hugged me, her head just brushing my ribs. "Thank God! I was getting so bored!"
I laughed. "Sorry, kiddo." I ruffled her thick dark hair. Aunt Liz came and hugged me too, and I became engulfed in the scent of her warm, comforting perfume.
"You were so late!" Aunt Liz held me by the shoulders, staring anxiously into my eyes. "What were you up to? Why didn't you call me?"
"Sorry Aunt Liz; car broke down, and my phone ran out of charge. It was 4 30 (A/N: Looook! Number 3! Yay! Lol soz A/N) by the time I managed to hitch a ride, and it takes half an hour to get home..."
"Well then you would've been back by five." Aunt Liz frowned.
"Uh... we kind of got McDonalds..."
Aunt Liz was baffled. "McDonalds?"
Kirstie looked put out. "I had to have Shepherd's Pie!"
I laughed. "At least you'll stay nice and slim while I pile myself with junk food."
Kirstie giggled as Milo scampered over. He tugged at my boots with his sharp little teeth, and I smiled, scooping him up. He licked my face. Aunt Liz's fear had evaporated, and she stepped into the kitchen. "Hungry?"
"Not really." I admitted. "I think I'll go take a shower." I wasn't very wet now, thanks to Theo's toasty car, but I felt grubby, and I needed to bathe in warm water to rid my mind of swarming thoughts.
The hot needles pounded and pricked my skin, and I sighed as the warm air washed over me, forcing me to breath in water vapour. I tried to clear my mind of thoughts, but that part? Yeah, not working out.
Theo was some kind of super natural creature. He had enhanced senses, and he was a murderer, that I, for some reason of other, completely trusted and honestly believed that he would never hurt me. He had told me himself that he wouldn't, but if he truly was a murderer, he had to be a pretty skilled actor and liar.
The whole murderer topic sent more thoughts spinning into my head like a real of silk thread, continually tangling and tripping over one another. Who had he killed? Why did he kill them? Did his family help? What about Ruby-May? Had he killed more than one person? How had he not been discovered by the police? And most importantly, why was I not a lot more scared than I should be? This was more than just some bad-boy crush. This was proper, heart-felt love, and when he told me that he wouldn't hurt me, I honestly believed him. That's how much I loved him, and wouldn't go to the police, even if it meant risking someone's life. Which was incredibly, incredibly stupid of me. What's to say he even liked me back? And even if he did like me, he probably didn't love me. I turned off the shower feeling depressed by how stupid and love-sick I was.

The Moonstone Wolf Pack (NEEDS EDITING)
Werewolf(A/N: A word of warning for anyone reading - I wrote this story when I was very young. So yes, it is corny, and yes, it does need a lot of editing. I've been told it's a fun read, and maybe one day I'll get round to giving it a proper reconstruction...
