Hoodie Guy
--Hey! This is George. Is this Bad?
—Oh, hey George! I was just talking to Sapnap about you.
--Oh! Sorry.
—Oh, no it's ok! We are hanging out right now
—Anyway, did you wanna hang out?
--I mean, if you're free?
—Yeah! Me and Sap are at L'manor Cafe getting coffee.
—Because apparently, Sap doesn't have enough energy
—already.
George laughed.
--I can be there in 20 minutes, does that work?
—Yep! See you then.
George got dressed, wearing light blue jeans, a black and yellow Nirvana T-shirt, and a grey hoodie tied around his waist. And walked into the garage. He grabbed the keys to a 1969 Dodge Charger. The only car his dad ever bought. It was an old car, but it worked, and it looked pretty cool. George got in the car and backed out of the open garage. He drove for about 15 minutes, parking in the back of L'manor Cafe. It was 11:25.
He had been there a couple times with his parents, so it was easy for him to remember where it was. He got out of the car and locked it. Walking to the front of the cafe. He opened the door and walked in. He looked around for Bad and Sapnap, and found them sitting at a table in the back. Sapnap had on a black and white checkered shirt, black sweatpants, and white-red shoes. And Bad was wearing his hoodie again. George waved and walked over.
"Just can't get enough of us can you?" Sapnap smirked, Bad looking at him, unimpressed. George laughed a little and sat down.
"I mean, I guess. I haven't really left my house in like forever. So, it's a nice change." He smiled.
"Mhmm. Anyway. How are you doing!" Bad smiled brightly at him.
"I'm doing well. Not much different from yesterday," George laughed.
"We just ordered, so when Niki comes back you can order something." Bad pointed to a waitress with dark brown hair, and two blonds stripes in the front. "She's pretty cool." That was when George took notice of Sapnap's hand shaking. Bad saw him staring.
"He's had like four cups of coffee. I told him not to, but.. well. What can you do." Sapnap giggled, as Bad looked at him.
They talked for a little while, and soon, the waitress, who George found out was named Niki, came back over.
"Here is your chocolate chip muffin and hot chocolate, and here is your omelet." She handed Bad the muffin and hot chocolate. And Sapnap the omelet. Then, she looked at George. "Would you like anything?"
George looked at the menu for a second, "Just a coffee and some toast" He smiled at her. She smiled back as she walked away.
In a couple minutes Niki came back with his food. He thanked her, and ate, while talking to Bad and Sapnap. After they finished their food, Bad offered to pay for the food, and they left. They decided to go on a walk through the park. So, they walked across the street, and down the sidewalk, looking at all the cool shops.
They arrived at the park, and walked over to two benches that were placed under a tree, shading them from the heat of the day. George and Bad sat on one bench, Sapnap on the other.
"Hey, George. I have a question." Sapnap put his arm around the bench.
"Yeah?" George leaned on his fists resting on the benches metal arm rest.
"Well, you said earlier you never really went out of the house. And I was wondering why? If you're fine answering." Sapnap looked at George kindly
"Yeah. I haven't really left the house much since my dad and mom passed. I was mostly just sulking in my own sorrow. But it's not like I could've prevented it anyway. People have death days, I just didn't want them to happen," George paused. "The only reason I went out yesterday was because well.. the day felt different. Like it shouldn't be wasted sitting alone in a big empty house. But I guess it might've been fate though, right? I mean, I met you two. Or... re-met you two. That wouldn't have happened if I had decided to not go out."
Sapnap looked at him, "Yeah. I mean, the whole Death Day thing is fate, so why isn't everything else! Like that coffee. If I hadn't had that coffee, we could be on the moon right now." Bad burst out into giggles, and George laughed as well. "Laugh all you want, but I'm serious. Who knows what could've happened!" Sapnap closed his eyes, proud of himself, as Bad practically died of laughter, and George smiled longer than he ever had in the past year.
After they had calmed down, and were talking more, George noticed something, or... someone out of the corner of his eye. A familiar-ish dirty-blonde haired boy with a green hoodie and his hands in his pockets, was walking past them on the sidewalk. He looked like he was talking to someone, and George figured out who shortly.
A young girl who also looked familiar, with two blonde stripes in the front of her hair, and dark brown hair in the back ran in front of him, and stopped him from walking. Talking to him. The waitress from the cafe. She still had her apron on, and a bit of flour was on her cheek. They were in an argument, but George looked away, his heart sunken.

Niki ran in front of Dream, stopping him from walking. She had a stern look on her face, and was still in her work apron.
"Dream, you can't just not talk to me. Come on! I'm trying to be nice here!!" Niki was worried about him. And he knew it.
"Niki, I know you want to help, but it's better if you stay out of it. I appreciate you worrying about me, but come on, It's not like I'm going to die!" Dream tried to walk past her, but she step sided, blocking him again.
"Please? Just once, you don't have to take every fight you get into. You can step down," She pleaded
"It's fine. Plus, if I back out now, I'm going to look like a coward." Niki crossed her arms.
"Please! For me? For your sister?" Niki looked at him, her arms open. Dream looked his sister in the eyes. Her blue eyes, inherited from their grandmother staring back at him. He sighed.
"Fine. But only this once." Niki kept her arms open, and finally Dream gave in, hugging her.
"Deep down, you know you're too much of a softie to disagree with your beloved sister. Who you love so dearly." Dream rolled his eyes.
"Now I want to go even more." Niki let go of her brother and rolled her eyes.
"Yeah but you won't. Because if you do, you're sleeping on the road tonight." Dream's eyes widened.
"You can't do that!" Niki laughed.
"I can, and if you go fight him, I will. So come on. What do you wanna do? I'm still on break." Dream thought for a moment. Niki looked at her watch. "Time is ticking."
"We could just walk around? I don't know." Niki sighed. Then, she saw Sapnap and Bad. Two of her close friends. "Hey, why don't I introduce you to some of my friends?" Dream's eyes followed her gaze to three boys talking. He saw Sapnap, who he knew. Then, he noticed someone else familiar, someone who he had seen while working the previous day.
"Sure." Niki smiled, and grabbed his wrist, dragging him over to the three boys, chatting away.
"Hey Bad, Sapnap and..." She looked at George, "I never caught your name"
"George" He said, smiling a little, a smile that quickly went away.
