"Sapnap almost died!?" Niki stood up. Her arms in the air
"Uh- yeah, but he didn't." Dream half-heartedly smiled
"But he could have!" Niki countered. Crossing her arms.
"No, it's not his day, he couldn't have!" Dream rolled his eyes.
"Dream, you shouldn't be one to talk about what can and can't happen. I mean, look at yourself!" Niki sat down. Looking at him
"Niki, you promised we wouldn't bring that up. It doesn't matter now." Dream looked away
"It does matter. Because on my day, I'm going to die, and your going to have to live through that." Niki grabbed his hand
"No, it's fine. I get that I'm not supposed to connecting to people. I get it." Dream pulled his hand away
"Not that, you can get connected to people, and this one is my fault, but you have to face the facts. And-" Dream put his hand up
"Niki, can we just continue to worry about Sap and not my own problems?" Niki signed
"You're going to have to face this eventually. You know that." Niki stood up and walked away. Dream didn't try to stop her.

George walked out of the kitchen, with a cup of water for Sapnap. He walked upstairs and heard Dream and Niki's voices. Then, Niki came walking out of a room, her eyebrows furrowed.
"Hey, What's wrong?" George asked
"Nothing, Dream's just being.... Difficult. I just want him to be happy, but he's convinced he never will be." She sighed
"I understand where he is coming from," Niki looked at George, eyes wide, "No, no, not like that. I understand thinking that you'll never be happy."
"What do you mean? You seem really happy." Niki uncrossed her arms, and stuck her hand in the pocket of her hoodie
"I am, it's just... everybody I know had a death day that's before mine. So I'm going to have to live through that." George sighed
"I mean, at least you'll join them eventually. Right?" Niki looked up at George
"Sure..." George looked at the floor.
"What do you mean?" Niki stopped George from walking
"I mean.. Well..." George took a breath "Can you keep a secret?"
Niki nodded, "I'm really good at keeping secrets."
George walked into a room right next to them, Niki walked in too, and George shut the door. "Well... I have a really big secret. And I've never told anyone, and I'm not even sure why I'm telling it to you." He paused, "But I want somebody to know..." George takes another breath, setting the cup of water on the floor. He looked at Niki
"I promise I won't tell a soul" Niki put her hand over her heart. George laughed a little
"Ok.. Well... My death date.. it was supposed to happen 2 months ago. On March 15th. But, as you can see im not... well dead." Niki's eyes widened a bit, then closed. "You dont seem suprised..."
"I-, Its just.. Thats a lot to process. Nobody has lived past their day in... what was it, 5,000 years? Its a lot to take in..." George nodded
"Niki, if you dont mind me asking, what were you talking with Dream about?" Niki looked at George and held her own hands.
"I guess I'll tell you, because you told me your big secret. Well... Dream and I, we were what some people would call 'late bloomers.' When Dream was born, he didnt have a death day. Which is normal, because you usually know what it is when your a year old. But, the thing with Dream was that, when I was born, and he was 5, he still hadn't gotten his day. And when I was 3, and he was 8, he didn't have it. I got mine when I was 5, which was extremely late. But, by then, he was 10, and nobody thought he was ever going to get one." Niki paused. "Dream never got his Death day. And what that means, at least right now, is that.. he is like you. He won't die."
Niki looked up at him, George's mouth was open slightly, his mind racing.
"Hey, I thought we agreed to not tell anyone." Dream stood at the doorway to the room. Niki quickly turned her head and stood up. George grabbed the cup of water that was on the floor. "Wanna explain Niki?" Niki stepped forward
"Dream he-" Niki was interrupted
"I'm like you, Dream. I won't die, because my Death Date was two months ago." George stepped forward. Dreams eyes went wide, his mouth opened, but he didn't speak. He just stared at George in disbelief. Then, his eyes narrowed
"H- How do I know you aren't just lying. You know nothing about me, and your nothing like me." Dream stepped forward. Niki walked backwards to George.
"Your just going to have to trust me. And, you know nothing about me either." We literally met yesterday George thought, "Were just two strangers who happen to live forever." Dream didn't buy it, he crossed his arms
"Sure, I know nothing about you. Let me guess, you went to private school, are a goody two shoes, are a spoiled rich kid who still lives with his parents. Your probably a liar, an attention seeker, and a stuck up entitled bitch who-" Niki slapped him
"What the hell!?" She stared at Dream
"Actually, Dream, I went to a public school, got bad grades because I didn't understand, got bullied every day because my mom was basically missing my whole life, I am honest as much as I can be because I don't want to lose the people around me. I don't like the spotlight, and get nervous whenever people are focused on me." George felt tears sting the corners of his eyes as he pushed past Dream, "Oh, and my parents. Yeah, they are both dead" George walked out of the room and over to where Sapnap was.
George gave Sap the water cup, and left the room before his tears decided to fall.
AN- Sorry this is short, but I didn't think it needed to be any longer. Anyway, drink water, go outside, and remember I <3 you!
