Fun Times at Marion High

Chapter Six

"Natalia help me," I whined, pulling her into my closet to find clothes. She, Carson and Lacey were over my house today to help me with my date with Jeremy and so I can tell them what happened afterwards, which means they're spending the night.

Natalia laughed at me and looked through my closet, looking at clothes and finally coming up with a decent outfit and shoes. She picked my accessories and what makeup I should put on. I quickly went to change and to do my hair. Natalia did my makeup and helped me with the back of my hair to make sure it looked nice.

I walked into my room to show Lacey and Carson, them whistling. I blushed.

"Do I look okay?" I asked, looking down at my outfit.

"You looking smoking hot my love," Carson said, winking at me. I smiled and heard my door bell ring.

Jeremy!

I ran downstairs and fixed my shirt quickly before opening the door. Jeremy looked at me, his eyes wide. I looked down, nervous.

"Do you not like it, I can change," I said, stuttering some of my words. He chuckled and shook his head.

"You just look pretty," he said, smiling.

I blushed, "Thank you." He grabbed my hand and we walked to his car. I looked up at my room window and saw the girls making kissy faces. I flipped them off, sticking my tongue out. I got in Jeremy's car, him getting into the driver's side and we were off.

"Are we there yet?" I whined.

"Almost," he said for the millionth time. I pouted at him and he just chuckled.

After about a hour we finally arrived to.....the beach?

"Jeremy, it's the middle of October. Why are we at a beach?"

"You'll see soon enough," he said and got out of the car. I got out and walked to him. He took my hand in his and we walked onto the beach.

We just talked and laughed until we came across a table with candles in the middle. I giggled and looked at Jeremy.

"You're so cheesy," I said, placing a small kiss on his cheek. He smiled and shrugged.

We walked over to the table and sat down. I saw Neil walk up to us in a suit and I tried my best not to laugh. He shot me a look and I made a straight face but....that didn't work out. I laughed my ass off.

Neil grumbled and put our food on the table.

Me and Jeremy spent our time talking and eating, sharing laughs often. We finally got up and walked back towards the car until Jeremy spotted something.

"Hey look," he said, pointing at the sand. I ran over with him and read the words in the sand:

Nathaniel Mendez, I've grown to become close friends with you these few months and I've fallen for you. Will you be my girlfriend?

I looked at Jeremy and smiled. I jumped on him and squealed, "yes!"

He wrapped his arms around me and soon he put me down, placing a sweet kiss to my lips. I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck. We pulled away, blushing and smiling like idiots.

Soon we decided it was time to end the date and go back home.

I ran into my house and squealed. Lacey, Carson and Natalia were playing on my laptop and they looked up.

"What happened?" Lacey asked.

I told them everything and they screamed and squealed in joy for me. We spent the rest of our time watching movies like The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles.

All of us soon fell asleep...
