"Natty, wake up! We have school," I heard a high pitched voice scream. I sat up fast, my heart beating. I clutched my chest and snapped my head to my left, where Natalia was standing. I glared at her and stood up, deciding to get ready.

Natalia was staying with me for a week because her parents were in Columbia to visit some family and they didn't want her to stay at home alone or miss school.

I stretched a little and headed towards the bathroom. I locked the door and turned the shower on, stripping off my bed clothes and jumping in. I wash my body quickly and get out. I dried off and put on my underclothes then headed back to my bedroom to look for an outfit. I searched my drawers and raided my closet until I finally found something to wear. I dressed myself and put on some makeup then brushed my wild red hair and straightened it.

I grabbed my book bag, keys and phone and headed downstairs. Natalia was in the kitchen eating cold left over pizza from last night and I scrunched my nose.

"How can you eat that cold?"

She shrugged, "I just do."

I nodded and grabbed a poptart, eating it rather quickly and drank water behind it. We decided to go to school so we walked out the door, locking up the house and got in my car.

We finally arrived at school and I parked in my usual parking spot. I got out with Natalia and we walked towards the front door. I saw Lacey, Carson and Neil not far away and ran over to them.

"Nate! Natalia!" Lacey squeaked, hugging us.

"Hey Lace," I said.

"Neil," I screamed and jumped on his back. He stumbled a bit but caught himself.

"Nathaniel," Neil sang, spinning around.

"I'm gonna throw up," I groaned and he stopped.

"Ew no! Not on me," he screeched, causing me to laugh. I jumped down and we all went to our respective class.

Where's Jeremy? He's usually here early-

My thoughts were broken when Mrs. Turner asked me a question. I gave her the answer and continued to wonder...

It was time for lunch and no sign of Jeremy anywhere. Neil didn't even know where he was. I walked down the hallway with Josh and Neil, entering the cafeteria and getting our food. I sat down next to Austin and we chatted a bit. Lacey and Josh were flirting again, but I mean they're dating now so I guess it's less gross.

"Hey Nate isn't today your 2 month anniversary?" Neil asked. I nodded.

"That must be why Jeremy's behind you," he said nonchalantly.

I raise my eyebrow and turn around....and there was Jeremy. He was holding flowers and a small black box. I stood up and walked towards him.

"Jeremy, what are you doing?" I asked.

"Happy two month anniversary babe," he said, handing me the flowers and opening the black box, revealing a ring.

"This isn't an engagement ring but a promise ring. I promise you nothing will come between us and I promise when we become big, me and you will get married. I love you," he said.

Tears were blurring my vision but I smashed my lips on Jeremy's, earning whistles and cheers. I pulled away and Jeremy slid the ring on my finger. I smiled and placed a small kiss on his lips.

"I love you too."
