Chapter Eleven

beep beep

I groaned and shut my alarm off quickly, covering my body back up in the warm blankets. I started falling asleep again until someone sat down on my bed. I looked up and saw a man with a beard. I squinted, half asleep and my vision is blurry.

"Jeremy?"

"Hmm," he said. I sat up and rubbed my eyes.

"How'd you get in here?" I asked.

"Your dad let me in," he said like it was obvious.

I made a 'oh' shape with my mouth but no sound came out.

"Well get up! We have school," he said, standing up. I groaned and laid back down, mumbling about how tired I was.

Then I felt my blanket being pulled from my bed and my body and I shrieked. I stood up and jumped on Jeremy, making him stumble.

"Go shower. I'll be waiting downstairs," he ordered and I frowned but nodded. He smiled and left a kiss on my cheek. I walked to my bathroom and quickly took a shower. When I finished I dried off and straightened my hair.

I quickly ran to my bedroom and closed the door. I raided my closet for something to wear. I threw on some clothes and put on my shoes. I put on some eyeliner and mascra then grabbed my backpack and phone, walking downstairs.

"Ready?" Jeremy asked and I nodded in response.

"Adios papá," I said, hugging my dad.

"Adios hija, te quiero," he said.

"Yo tambien," I reply and ran towards the door, where Jeremy was. I slipped my hand in his and we left the house.

"So Winter Formal is coming up," Lacey said, nudging my arm while I sipped on my coffee Jeremy got me before school.

"Yup," I said, popping the 'p'.

"What are you going to wear, Natalia?" Lacey asked.

"Something purple, Andrew is wearing a purple shirt and black pants," she said, smiling.

"What about you, Carson?" Natalia asked.

"Vans and a dress," she said, smirking. I giggled at her and thought about her vow to never wear heels.

"And you?" Carson asked me.

"A blue and black dress with black heels," I said and shrugged.

"Lacey?" I asked her.

"A peach gown and heels," she said.

As Lacey finished, Mrs. Turner started her lesson and we listened.

I walked into the lunchroom and got my food. I walked to our table and sat between Jeremy and Austin. Once we all settled, questions were flying about fomal.

"So Josh, are you and Lacey going to formal together?" I asked.

Josh scoffed, "Of course." Lacey smiled and kissed Josh, Alex and Neil gagging.

"Austin, who are you taking?" Neil asked.

"Gielle," he said, grinning. Me and Lacey 'aww'd. Austin has been talking to Gielle for awhile and I think they're so cute together.

We spent the rest of lunch pretty much talking about Formal and what we should do afterwards.

After school, Jeremy and I were walking to his car in the school parking lot. He had his arm around my shoulders and mine around his waist.

"So Nathaniel...I have news."

"What is it?" I looked up at him, tilting my head to the side.

"We got a record deal in Georgia," he rambled. I gasped and screamed, jumping up and down.

"Oh my gosh, when do you guys go down there?" I asked.

"After graduation....and I want you to come with me," he said.

"Of course," I said and smiled, placing a kiss to Jeremy's lips.

"I couldn't survive a day without you."
