𝑇𝑤𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑦 𝐹𝑖𝑣𝑒

When I get back to the compound I find Uncle Aalton shouting at my siblings who were all stood in a line, eyes down at the lecture they were receiving. "What were you thinking?! It astounds me that not one of you put a stop to this madness! I have been searching for you tirelessly for the past few weeks worried out of my mind and you've been treating this all as though it were a joke?!"

"Uncle Aalton, it's not their fault," I say making all of their heads snap up to me, "it's my fault, I told them to stay with me. I'm sorry I didn't think it through but I thought that I could protect them. So don't shout at them they were just trying to do something nice for me and I'm sorry." I figured they'd just been through a shitty thing and they didn't even know that their mum was dead so I'd take the heat for this.

"Coral." He looks shocked, "are you ok?" He asks making me nod, "did you find your sister?" I shake my head disappointed that she hadn't come back here. Maybe Aalton the second had lied to me. "I bumped into our brother though, he had a few things he wanted to say."

They all look worried, "he didn't hurt you did he?"

"He said he wanted me to go back and rule with him, I declined obviously but he was trying to be nice I think. He said he loved you guys and that he was sorry for everything and that he wouldn't hurt Kai as long as she stayed on earth."

"He also said that he's the king now because, I'm so sorry for this but your mother... she passed." They all look very effected by this Ridley breaks down and ends up on the floor again. Finn joins her whilst Cain just stares ahead stony faced. Braden curses with tears in his eyes before he leaves the room. "What?" Uncle T asks turning to me in shock.

He leads me away from the others, "he said he's the one that got rid of her." I tell him in a hushed tone unsure on wether I should tell the others that. "She's dead?"

"That's what he said."

"And he didn't hurt you?" He asks checking me over briefly. "No but I don't know wether he lied about hurting Kai. He told me that they had a talk and that she agreed to stay on earth but he said that he let her go but why isn't she here then?" I ask making him sigh. "I do not know Coral, I do believe what Aalton told you is the truth, he is not a liar, he's too proud for that."

"Are you going to take them home?" I ask, "I believe that they will want to be there for their mother's funeral, but it's their decision if they want to stay..." I nod, "they can stay with me." I say making him smile.

"I'm so proud of you Coral, you've become the young lady I always knew that you were." He says making me smile. "Thanks for believing in me uncle t."

"Always."

Lana then stirs from the chair she was tied to and look around at us in confusion, "what happened?" She asks worry on her face, "you selfish backstabbing bitch! You're what happened. Kai is missing because of you!" Cain yells at her, "take him away from here." Uncle t says to me pushing me in that direction.

"Cain, come with me. Come on, the two of you as well." I say to the two on the ground who'd stopped their crying. I take them to my room and I sit on the bed with Ridley and Finn both of whom are silent whilst Cain paces, it seemed that is what he did whilst stressed.

"Is Kai gonna be ok?" Finn asks me, "I don't know Finn but I promise you that I'm not going to stop until I find her." I say making him nod, "why did Lana do this?" He asks confused, "because she's a heartless-"

"I don't know, Braden said she was dealing with all the news badly and grief makes people so funny things." I say interrupting Cain. "I'm sorry." Finn says suddenly surprising me, "I'm sorry for being so cold with you, I shouldn't have let what Lana said affect me especially because you've been nothing but nice to all of us."

"It's ok Finn." I say shaking my head, he goes to say something when Cain suddenly throws something across the room making us jump. I push myself up and walk over to him, "Cain..." he surprises me by hugging me tightly. I pat his back and allow him to cry into my shoulder.

"There you are." I say hugging Steve once he comes to my room, "did you find her?" After I came back the team went out looking for Kai for me but by the look on his face I could tell they hadn't.

I don't know what to say so I sigh and just let him hold me. "Are they ok?" He asks glancing at my three siblings who'd fallen asleep on my bed. I glance at them too and sigh before leading Steve out into the hall.

"Their mum is dead," I say making his brows raise, "how are you feeling about that?" I shrug, "I don't care, she was practically a stranger to me." I say making him frown. "Anyways I met my brother he was not what I was expecting at all."

"I actually felt kinda sorry for him, he has it in his mind that he's doing what needs to be done, he's so convinced that he's in the right."

"And he didn't hurt you?" I shake my head, "the opposite actually, he asked me to go and help him rule, he thinks that we're one in the same, that we were both mistreated by our mother and he wants to prove to everyone that they were wrong about him."

"Cora I don't know he just sounds a bit crazy."

"No I'm just saying that I understand him." I say making his brows furrow, "well of course you wouldn't get it."

"What's that supposed to mean?" I shake my head realising the direction that this conversation was going to go in, "nothing, it doesn't mean anything lets just forget it." I sigh making him nod.

"This is all such a big mess Steve, he said Kai agreed to stay here on earth so why hasn't she come here yet? I ask wondering if I really had made a mistake in believing what Aalton told me.

"I don't know but we'll find her Cora, you know we will." He tells me as he hugs me once more. "Everything is going to be ok."
