"So we gotta assume they're coming back, right?" Rohdey asks as we've moved to a different room to try and figure out what we're gonna do.

"And they can clearly find us."

"We need all hands on deck. Where's Clint?" Bruce asks us. "After the whole Accords situation, he and Scott took a deal. It was too tough on their families, they're on house arrest."

"Who's Scott?"

"Ant-Man."

"There's an Ant-Man and a Spider-Man? Okay, look... Thanos has the biggest army in the universe. And he is not gonna stop until he... he gets... Vision's Stone."

"Well then, we have to protect it."

"No, we have to destroy it. I've been giving a good deal of thought to this entity in my head, about its nature. But also, its composition. I think if it were exposed to a sufficiently powerful energy source, something, very similar to its own signature, perhaps... its molecular integrity could fail." Vision addresses Wanda as he nears her.

"And you, with it. We're not having this conversation." I was on Visions side and completely ready to yank the stone from his head until I looked at Wanda and put myself in her place. If this were me and Steve I wouldn't want to kill him either besides I guess vision was a friend and we try to keep our friends alive.

"Eliminating the stone is the only way to be certain that Thanos can't get it."

"That's too high a price."

Vision takes her face gently in both hands. "Only you have the power to pay it." Wanda walks away, distressed but he keeps going. "Thanos threatens half the Universe. One life cannot stand in the way of defeating him."

"But it should." Steve says as he looks up at Vision. "We don't trade lives, Vision."

"Captain, 70 years ago, you laid down your life to save how many millions of people. Tell me, why is this any different?"

Steve takes a breath, but before he has a chance to answer, I speak. "Is there no way we can get the stone out of his head without killing him? It's a stone I'm sure it's not his whole personality and he must be able function without it? That way we can keep you alive vision but destroy the stone so Thanos can't get it." I ask looking over at Bruce cause he helped make vision, smiling as he nods.

"Your mind is made up of a complex construct of overlays. J.A.R.V.I.S., Ultron, Tony, me, the Stone. All of them mixed together. All of them learning from one another."

"You're saying Vision isn't just the stone?" Wanda asks before smiling gratefully over at us.

"I'm saying that if we take out the stone, there's still a whole lot of Vision left. Perhaps the best parts."

"Can we do that?" I'm sure Shuri could do it, she was without a doubt the smartest person I'd ever met.

"Not me. Not here."

"You better find someone, and somewhere fast. Ross isn't exactly just gonna let you guys have your old rooms back."

"I know somewhere."

"You're still here." Bruce says in surprise making me nod, "sorry, just Tony told me the avengers broke up and..."

"You assumed I would've been the first to leave?" He looks slightly embarrassed but I shrug, "it's a fair assumption, I mean I always complained about being on the team and constantly said I didn't wanna be there." I say making him nod, "I suppose if it weren't for him I would've left a long while ago." I shrug glancing at Steve who was helping vision onto the jet.
