"I can't believe you Daniel!" She yelled as she stomped her way to her room.
"Lex..." he trailed off as he followed her.
"Don't Daniel, please don't."
"Lex, don't shut me out!" He yelled just as she slammed her door.
"Go away!" She cried.
"Lex let me in."
"No, leave me alone."
Sighing he sat with his back against her door and called out, "Lex?"
"What?" She mumbled as her head laid against her pillow, tears streaming down her face.
"Please let me in so we can talk about this."
"We're talking just fine now."
"Lex come on please." He pleaded.
"Why?"
"Huh?"
"Why did you do it Dani?"
Passing a hand through his hair he stayed silent.
"Dani?" She whispered.
When she didn't get a response she made way to the door and opened it which caused Daniel to fall into her room.
"I don't want you to get hurt," he began as he stood up, continuing with, "I've always done everything I can to prevent you from getting hurt and I'm not going to stop now."
Sniffling she asked, "So you hurt others instead?"
"Okay maybe punching him wasn't necessary." He said with a shrug.
Narrowing her eyes at him she said, "You have to apologize to him."
"I know and I will. I just... I had to make sure you were okay first."
"Well I think I'm okay." She mumbled.
"I love you Lex." He said with his arms opened wide.
Hugging him she replied, "I love you too Dani."
