"Hey, what's wrong? You've been like this for almost two weeks." Savannah said as the duo made their way to class, dodging fellow students in the hallways as they go.

"Nothing's wrong. Don't worry about it."

"You just contradicted yourself. You said nothing's wrong and not to worry about it. So tell me what's it? What got you all zombie like?" Savannah said as they entered they English class, taking seats in the middle.

"Okay, so I have something to tell you but you have to wait till I'm finished talking to speak, yeah?"

"Yeah, yeah. Now tell me!"

"About two weeks ago someone called me."

"Wait! Like a creepy person?"

"You know there's a reason I said you have to wait till I'm finished before you can speak. And no he wasn't a creepy person."

"He?"

"Vana! Shut up!"

"Okay. Okay. Geez, calm down woman."

Sighing she continued, "he greeted me with 'Hello Beautiful.' And well we had somewhat of a conversation in which I told him it's a wrong number and I hung up."

"You hung up on him?! Well I'll probably do the same thing so yeah, continue." Savannah said shrugging.

"He called back however, the following day and I did the same thing. I told him it was a wrong number and hung up."

"He's..."

"Vana..."

"Sorry, sorry."

"He called again after I did and Daniel answered. He asked who it was and why he called and he also told him not to call again."

"You better finish this after!" Savannah shouted; a little too loudly, earning a loud 'shush' from the teacher who had just entered the classroom and laughs from her classmates.

"What y'all looking at?" Savannah snapped at them making them all turn around in a few seconds while her friend just shook a head smiling slightly.

-----

"Proceed with your story, please and thank you." Savannah said as they walked away from English class and to their next.

Laughing she continued, "I called him the following day and..."

"YOU CALLED HIM?!" Savannah screeched, again being shushed by a teacher whose class they had passed.

"Sorry." She replied with a sheepish grin while pulling her friend away walking further down the hall.

"Yes, I called him. And guess what? He said it's the wrong number and HE hung up on ME! And I felt bad because it does suck when someone hangs up on you."

"What did you do?"

"I was really upset with myself and I wasn't sure why so I just turned off my phone completely. When I did turn it on however I was notified that I had a missed call from him."

"Aww. So did you call him back?"

"Yeah. He apologized and explained everything. Apparently he had met a girl at a party, she had seemed interested and gave him a number which turned out to be mine."

"Wow."

"Yeah. I know. Oh and he said something about not being the kind of guy girls like her actually like. Whatever that supposed to mean."

"There's something you're not telling me. What is it?"

"Well he said he wasn't going to call again. And I know we didn't talk much but I want to talk to him?" she said whispering the latter part unsurely.

"So you haven't gotten a call from him in two weeks and that's why you're zombie like? Girl, he said he wasn't going to call. He never said you can't call, right?"

"I..."

"Nope! He didn't say that. So you can call him. Oh call him now!" Savannah said with a bounce in her steps while she nodded her head.

Shaking her head she said, "I'll call him tonight and see how it goes."

"I want all the details tomorrow. Do you hear me? Every single one!" Savannah once again yelled as she entered her class leaving her friend at the door opposite hers which was the drama room.
