LEGOLAS'S POV:
I patroled the forest, bow and arrows at the ready. Swish. What was that? Never underestimate a single sound, it could lead to your well, death. There it was again, what was that sound? Then I saw it, a monsturous eight legged spider. Pulling back my bowstring, I released the arrow. There, the arrow rested in between the spiders eyes. The I heard another sound, trumpets. I should have been back at the castle! Running as fast as I could, I sprinted towards the castle gates. The oak door were closing... "Prince Legolas, you are just in time". One of the Gate Gaurds said. Holding the doors open, he let me in. "Legolas, come with me. Now" Father's eyes showed nothing but big trouble. Why? "Legolas NOW!" his tone was dangerous. Following Father, I left the Entrance hall. I followed Father across the winding walkways and staircases. Where was he taking me? We were past the Throne Room, past the Dining Hall, past the dungeons... Fathers chambers. I had only been there one other time, what happened there. I do not like to think about. I was still a young elf, I only practiced archery with soft arrows. They often hit the target and bent. Well, for a change I wanted to try hitting something new. So I stood on the Kingdom Bridge and aimed for a knot on a tree. A guard was standing beneath the tree, if my arrows went astray, surely he'd help me..right? Well, no. You see, I missed the knot and hit a bush behind the gaurd. He was standing still so I thought he was fine....until Father came screaming round the corner. He yelled and yelled and yelled, for days he was in a bad mood. He shouted at the maids, yelled at the cooks and hit one of his personal gaurds. Anyway, he lead me into his room, ignoring my frightened wimpers. In there I had such a telling off, I didn't come out of my room for a whole moon cycle. The maids brought me food and I ate in my room. The door creaked open, I stepped inside. I heard the door shut behind me with a sharp SNAP. Father sat himself down in a soft, velvet, throne like chair. Golden curls surrounded the chair. "Legolas, I am sure you know why you are here". "Father.........I do not know why I am here" I replied. "Legolas, you know full well why you are here. I shall help you......Tauriel prehaps?" he said, a glint of cunning in his steely grey eyes. Then it hit me, Tauriel, the kiss, he..........knew. "Father, I- it was a mistake- I did not know- but- I -" Father cut across me. "Legolas, SHE IS A SILVAN ELF! HOW COULD YOU DO SUCH A THING?! YOU ARE UPENDING THE PURITY OF YOUR OWN BLOOD! DO YOU NOT KNOW HOW EMBARRISING THAT IS FOR ME AS YOUR FATHER?! I RAISE YOU, CAREFULLY AND QUIETLY! AND THIS IS WHAT I GET IN RETURN?! YOU FALLING FOR A SILVAN ELF?! YOU HAVE NO RESPECT AT ALL FOR YOUR ANCESTORY! YOU ARE A PRINCE, DECENDANT OF OROPHER! DO YOU NOT CARE OF WHAT OTHER PEOPLE WILL THINK OF YOU?! YOU WILL NOT ONLY LOSE YOU RANK IN THE ELVEN SOCIETY! HAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT WHAT PEOPLE WILL THINK OF ME?!?! LETTING MY SON FALL FOR A SILVAN ELF?! YOU WILL BECOME LOWEST OF THE LOW! YOU WILL BECOME AN OUTCAST! DID YOU NOT THINK ABOUT THE EFFECT THIS WOULD HAVE ON MY REPUTATION AS KING?! NO! AND I KNOW YOU DIDN'T! OTHERWISE YOU WOULD HAVE NOT KISSED TAURIEL! IN THE HEALING WING! ANYONE COULD HAVE SEEN YOU?! YOUR ARE LUCKY NO ONE DID!" pausing to take a deep, angry breath, he began again. "LEGOLAS, YOU HAVE NO IDEA OF HOW EMBARESSED I AM! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! I WILL NOT TOLERATE IT! YOU WILL SEVER YOUR TIES WITH HER! AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT YOU HAVE WITH HER! AS PUNISHMENT YOU WILL DO HER DUTIES AS WELL AS YOUR! I DO NOT CARE IF YOU HAVE TO WORK ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT! YOU WILL LEARN YOU LESSON! YOU WILL SEE WRONG IN WHAT YOU HAVE DONE! YOU WILL SEE WHAT A FOOL YOU HAVE MADE OF ME! AS YOUR FATHER, I AM DEEPLY UNIMPRESSED! YOU ARE SUCH AN IGNORANT, IDIOTIC, FAMILY-EMBARRISING FOOL! I COULD THROW YOU OUT OF THE CASTLE! AND I HAVE HALF A MIND TO DO SO! YOU COULD BE OUT DOING YOUR PUNISHMENT DUTIES AND YET YOU SIT IN FRONT ON ME ON YOUR UNGRATEFUL LITTLE- YOU ARE UPROOTING YOU FAMILY TREE! YOU ARE UPENDING THE BALANCE OF YOUR ANCESTORS! YOU ARE BREAKING THE RULES SET OUT BY YOUR ANCESTORS! DO YOU NOT CARE FOR THESE RULES?! I AM ASHAMED! IF YOUR ANCESTORS, RAINA, OROPHER WERE ALIVE, YOU WOULD BE EXUCUTED FOR YOU WRONG DOING!" He looked madder that I had ever seen him. I felt very bad now......
