THRANDUIL'S POV:
The Midsummer Ball would occur in a days time. I needed to do this. I need to tell Tauriel. This was the advice of Lord Elrond, my trusted friend. I need to confess to her. She ought to know.
I walked to my wardrobe and went to find a sutible robe. I selected three that I liked. A pale Mirkwood green, a blended green and ochre. And a soft silvery cream. I thought through what we had in the seamstresses cuboards. No bird had Mirkwood green feathers, nor green. One species o bird had ochre feathers. And it lived in Lorién, rather far away. I knew we had several kinds or cream coloured birds. I setteled on the cream and went into the hallway. I walked along the intricate carved walkways until I reached the Clothes Room. I stepped into the room and looked around. Maids darted around, collecting dresses, collecting robes, placing orders and looking at materials. I gave a slight cough. Everything stopped. "I want to place and order. Where is Tailor Antonduil?". I looked around sternly. Tension filled the air. "I am here, King Thranduil. What is it that you require of me?". Antonduil's slim figure appeared from behind me."Is there a more private place to talk, Antonduil?". I cast him a cold, hard glare. "Of course, King Thranduil. Come with me.". He turned on his heel and scuttled towards a heavy oak door. He produced a gold key and pushed it into the lock. He pushed and pulled and twisted. Then there was a quiet click. And the door opened. The room beyond was decorated in my style. Red velvet drapes adorned every chair. A small fountain trickled in the corner. There was an elaboratedly decorated oak wardrobe, cabinet and table. A crystal chandlier hung from the ceiling. On the table there was a crystal ink pot, an eagle feather quill, two glasses and a bottle of Elven wine. A smell caught my attention. Flowers. Mirigilith flowers. They only grew in Lorien. "Good evening Thranduil. I hope I find you well.". A soft, gentle feminine voice filled my ear. "Lady Galadriel, why are you here? Should you not be in Lorien?". I questioned her appearence. "Thranduil, evil is creeping ever closer. It lurks in corners and remains unseen. Yet it's presense is known far and wide. Do something, Thranduil. Call the counsil. It's the only way.". Galadriel whispered her message in my ear. "Very well Lady Galadriel. I shall call the counsil. Must I summon them now? The Midsummer Ball is in a days time. Can it wait?". I began to worry. How would I have the ball and have the counsil meeting? "The Midsummer Ball is cover. We can have complete secrecy. But summon them now. Or shall I?". Galadriel sounded irritated now. "Summon them. I have bussiness to attend to.". I set a tone of finality in my voice. "Good night Thranduil. I shall summon them.". She seemed to glide out of the room and out into the hall. "King Thranduil, you have an order to place?". Antonduil's voice broke the silence. "Yes I do.". And with that I sat down on one of the chairs and reached for the paper and quill. Uderneath was a tray. I placed the paper on the tray, dipped the quill in ink and began to write out my order. I was:

FOR HIS MAJESTY KING THRANDUIL
To be completed and delivered before the days moon rises
I replaced the tray and quill, put the ink pot cork back in and handed the order to Antonduil. "To be completed and delivered before the days moon rises.". I stared him in the eye to makesure he understood. "Of course, King Thranduil.". He took the order and scuttled away, leaving me alone in the room. I soon followed him and walked to my chambers. I locked myself in and to think. Before long it was nightfall. Time to start the evening feast.
