Bucky's POV
The boy comes with us and doesn't question it thankfully. It would probably be smarter to talk to Annabeth as she seems more logical but it's easier to talk to him and it's obvious they share everything so she'll find out eventually and possibly tell us. Besides Tony seems interested in her intelligence and was only tolerating Percy for her so there's less of a chance of him spying on us. "What's going on?" he asks, holding a pen like it's dangerous for some reason.
"JARVIS, don't record," I say because Steve wouldn't remember to turn him off and Percy can't. "You know Nico Di Angelo." it's a statement not a question and he reacts by settling into a better fighting pose.
"What do you want with him? And what's with all the coffee pots?"
"Relax. A while ago we ran into him and he told the two of us about being a demigod. He vanished again after that and worried all of us. And Tony really likes coffee so there's pots of it everywhere."
"He told you?"
"Yeah, supposedly the Goddess of Love gave him permission or something, I don't remember the exact details. I was more focused on their existence."
"Yeah, most people are. When was this?"
"I'd say about two and a half years ago." Steve says and he shrinks down. "What?"
"That was right after he trusted me to protect his sister and she died. He ran off and refused to let anyone help him. The next time I saw him was over the summer and he was trying to bring her back from the dead."
"That does sound like Nico, he really didn't want to stay. But are you a demigod as well?"
"Yeah, I'm the Son of Poseidon and Annabeth's mother is Athena."
"That makes sense, she does seem really smart."
"She is, she found the Athena Parthenos over the summer and outsmarted Arachne herself." Arachne, what myth was she from? Wasn't there something about weaving and spiders? Oh right, she was too proud and got turned into a spider. "How did you find that? It vanished from history?"
"The Romans stole it and then Arachne kept it locked away as revenge. Athena somehow created this thing called the Mark of Athena that led children of hers that she chose to the statue, but it was really dangerous and my Wise Girl was the first to survive, in fact she was the first to reach the statue."
"Wow."
"Yeah, Annabeth is awesome and can do anything if she puts her mind to it."
"How's Nico doing now?" Steve asks and Percy looks down the smile falling off his face.
"That bad?" I say and he nods then pauses and shrugs.
"In some ways he's better but he did end up going through literal hell so he's also doing worse."
"What do you mean?"
"He's accepted that his sister is dead and actually found a half sister and made some connections but he's also had a lot of trouble since then. Will actually had to basically lock him up to get him to accept that he needed to heal from everything he did."
"What did he do?"
"I don't think I should tell you without his permission, it's pretty private. I'll text him and ask if he's okay with coming in and talking to you guys."
"I thought technology was dangerous for your kind."
"It is. However Leo managed to use Daedalus's laptop to make some phones safe for us and now the seven, Nico, and Rayna all have phones. He's working on making more for everyone else but it's a bit of a slow process even with his cabin helping."
