Bucky's POV

It's nice being able to lie again. Actually, it's even nicer to not be forced to answer when I want to focus. I still don't completely trust or like Wanda and Pietro, but they do seem to be a lot better than they were. They didn't even try to kidnap Tony once and didn't use the truth serum against us, much. And while it was a bit embarrassing to have Tony asking relationship questions in front of them, the fact that they could ask him was awesome.

But I still think the best part was seeing how red Nico got, especially when Will was whispering in his ear. The two of them are really cute and it's nice getting to see Nico put his guard down occasionally. And it was nice to see how happy he was to talk to them before they left.

"Did you remember the weapons molds?" Annabeth asks Tony and I look over. We went through a lot to get this metal, and I want to get the results quickly.

"Yeah, now that the truth dust is gone I should tell you that we're already smelting."

"What? We were supposed to be doing this together!" Annabeth is quite reasonably fuming, and even Percy putting his arms around her doesn't seem to help.

"I wanted to hurry the process along," Tony says with an unapologetic shrug.

Annabeth puts her head in her hands for a moment before continuing. "And you didn't stop to think about what would happen if something went wrong and no one had a clue why?"

"But nothing happened! Also, I have JARVIS keeping watch so we'll get an alert if something out of the ordinary does happen."

"This is ridiculous, but I suppose your robot is pretty smart. Well, if you don't need my help and can take care of everything yourself, maybe I'll go work on something else."

Everyone can hear the sarcasm, but Tony just says "great!" like she was being serious.

"Did you at least follow the steps we agreed on?" she says.

"Yes of course I did, I'm not an idiot."

"That's debatable," Clint says as he swings down from the ceiling vent. "Did you know that this hotel has very thin barriers between rooms and their vents? They're thick enough to support something but thin enough to hear absolutely everything. You two might want to take a look and get some notes because it's really well done."

"You really shouldn't be doing that here, people might complain about you infringing on their privacy," Natasha says from her couch.

"I didn't try to!" he protests, "I was just wandering around our suit but I got a little turned around and anyways they were so loud that I could hear them over that bedroom!"

"How can a spy like you get turned around?" I ask, "I thought you guys always know where you are."

"I got confused about where the bedrooms are. Normally I'd look at a blueprint before doing something like this, but I didn't because we're at a hotel. Unfortunately, I didn't remember where everyone's bedrooms were and thought that their bedroom was one of ours, and I could hear them from our suite so it wasn't like that was a noticeable change."

"Fair enough, hotels can be hard to navigate," Steve says as he gives me a quick kiss. "What happened?"

"Clint's a voyeurist," Tony says with a childish grin.

"I am not!" he protests immediately.

"What happened?" Steve asks me because it's clear those two won't answer anytime soon.

"Clint was in the vents and accidentally entered someone else's room while they were...engaged in intimate activities." Steve just blushes and it is so cute! I think he's too flustered to speak.
