Roxy's PoV

"Urgh," I groan in annoyance my hand forcing the broken windshield away.

I sit forward my eyes catching sight of several wolves advancing towards the wreckage, quickly I pull back the front of the engine off my legs freeing them.
Kicking on the passenger door I manage to slide out, eyes widening at the five wolves now circling around me backing me up against a nearby tree.

I slowly stumble backwards, bumping into the tree freezing to the spot gazing around at the wolves.

"What the hell is going on?" I snap looking directly at the alpha.

He turns, transforming into his human form, glaring profusely, "Bella is carrying an abomination!"

I growl, "She's carrying a baby asshole."

"A newborn that could kill the entire town," He scoffs, "We must destroy it."

"Kill the baby," I shake my head, "You can't do that, you'll kill Bella!"

His expression turns Stone cold, "So be it."

I flash my teeth the anger in me becoming overwhelming, "Over my dead body."

He shakes his head, "We'll protect the town even if it means making sure a newborn like you can't see Elizabeth or Charlie ever again."

I clench my jaw stepping forward, "I'd like to see you try, Sam."

He grins sadistically leaping into the air waving his hand out, it morphing into sharp claws scratching the front of my shirt open.
I gasp in surprise backing up to the tree glancing down at the rips and faint cracks on my abdomen.

I send an icy glare flicking my wrist sending Sam flying, raising my other hand creating an invisible forcefield preventing the other wolves from attacking.

I take a deep breath checking my surroundings noticing a branch up high in the tree where the wolves couldn't get me. I crouch down lowering my hand pushing roughly up into the air. I feel a claw scrape against my ankle completely ripping away my part of my jeans.

I loop my hand around the branch swinging myself up onto the perch smiling when the wolves realise they can't reach me.

"Now time to make it home," I scan the area noting that the house was only two miles East.

I pounce to another branch rapidly forming an advantage further ahead of the wolves.

Without thinking I vault out of the trees, somersaulting in the air gracefully landing on the dirt ground.
