Roxy's PoV

I stumble around my eyes drunkenly squinting at my surroundings. A large Christmas tree perched in the center of the room, bright lights dancing, happily tied together amongst sparkling tinsel.

"What?" I blink rapidly, "Where-"

Giggling of a little girl echoes in my ear, footsteps edging closer.

"Daddy, you can't leave without putting the star on the tree," The girl complains running into the room holding a star ornament covered in golden glitter, "Daddy where are you?"

I furrow my eyebrows watching the girl desperately scan the room looking for her father.

"Daddy!" The girls shrieks in fear.

"Hey," I step forward trying to calm the girl down, "Hey....it's okay?"

"Who are you?" The girls eyes stare widely at me.

"A friend," I offer a warm smile, "I can help you find you Dad."

She freezes to the spot her eyes looking past me, fear evident in her face.

I slowly turn around, tilting my head to find a man tiptoeing out of the shadows.

"Stay behind me," I reach for the girls arms, my fingers clasping onto nothing.

I twist backwards to find the tree completely covered in blood. The crimson dripping, drop by drop across the floor.

"Oh, Pumpkin," a deep voice mumbles.

I face the man again the girl limp in his arms, her neck torn apart savagely coated in thick red.

I gasp stepping back, slipping in a pool of blood.

"Do you you remember the first time you almost encountered death?" The figure taunts.

The scene changes suddenly, a stinging sensation rippling from my abdomen.

I inhale sharply staring down to find a knife sticking out, "No!"

I go to reach for it when a woman's hand covers mine.

"I wouldn't do that sweetheart."

Victoria appears in front of me, her vibrant hair bouncing elegantly, her blood red eyes slowly turning coal black.
