Roxy's PoV
I stand on the balcony my eyes staring up at the moon shining on me. The scenery of a magical fairytale glowing beneath my feet.
"Hey," Rose approaches nudging my shoulder, "The boys will be back soon. Then we can hunting."
I offer a warm smile, my skin glittering under the moonlight.
"What's up with you?" Rose questions lightly, "This isn't about the comment I made earlier. Cause I don't want to pressure you into marrying-"
I cut her off, "-It's not about that. I'm just feeling cautious."
"Why?"
I catch her eyes, "Well in my experience something bad eventually follows directly after happy events."
Rose laughs softly, "Rox, not to sound insensitive but that's life. Things will fluctuate between good and bad, it's how we evolve as individuals."
"I know that, I guess I just worry too much these days," I look back up at the purple sky, "I blame Jasper for that by the way. He's always nervous about everything."
Rose chuckles, "You two are so alike it's sometimes impossible to tell you apart."
I shake my head in amusement, "C'mon," I tug her arm, "Let's go greet the others downstairs."
"Annie! Rose!" Alice exclaims, "There you both are!"
Rose folds her arms over her chest, "Alice we've literally been upstairs."
Alice ignores her, "They boys will be back any moment. Then the three of us will go hunting. I need to be back by the time Bella arrives."
"Who's picking Bella up?" I ask.
"Esme is. Her and Carlisle are going to hunt tomorrow night. Allowing the rest of us enough time to make it back before guests start arriving at 9am."
Alice skips away from us, "They're back."
I smile noting Jasper's sweet scent on pine and honey, following Alice into the kitchen where the boys congregate.
I wink at Jasper leaning against the door frame, "Hello handsome."
Rose rolls her eyes shoving me, "No time for flirting. You heard Alice we're on a schedule."
