"This could go horribly wrong." Big Red muttered to himself as he climbed up the tree between their house once again. He glanced in her window to be sure no one except her was in there, and tapped on it. She bit her lip and opened it. "Hey."
"Um... hi, what are you doing?"
"I haven't been able to reach you through the phone. Grounded again?"
"Yeah." She nodded. "Sorry they're so... yeah."
"It's fine." He kissed her. "I should probably go, right?"
"Probably." She sighed. "See you Monday."
"Bye hon." He hugged her.
"Yeah, bye." She hugged him back, smiling.
"Love you."
"Love you too. Don't fall on your way down." She kissed his cheek.
"Falling isn't my priority." He grinned. "Okay, see ya." He climbed down.
"Again?" Ashlyn shook her head in disbelief, but couldn't help but smile. She pushed her window open.
"Hey, it's Sunday. I haven't seen you in like, a day."
"You're cute." She kissed his cheek.
"Even as friends we'd always see each other." He said. "Every day."
"I know, I know." She smiled. "I'm not complaining."
"Good." He smiled. "I just miss you, and I assume you're bored."
"Very. Thanks."
"How long are you grounded for?"
"Until Saturday, but at least we have school. Plus the musical, so I'll hardly be at home actually." She shrugged.
"Alright." He hugged her. "I'm sorry."
"It's fine. We were tired." She hugged him back.
"I know. I'm also sorry I keep coming over. Makes me seem really impatient, doesn't it?"
"It's sweet." Ashlyn smiled.
"Good." He checked the time. "I've gotta eat."
"See you tomorrow. And remember: don't fall."
"Again, it isn't my plan!" He exclaimed, already starting to climb.
"I love you."
"You too." He waved.
