IDINA
Calm down, Kristin.
KRISTIN
Calm down? Seriously. CALM DOWN!? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CALM DOWN WHEN I JUST VANISHED FROM MY COZY COUCH BINGE WATCHING MY FAVORITE NETFLIX SHOWS AND REAPPEARED IN A STONE CASTLE IN THE MIDDLE OF WHO KNOWS WHERE!?
IDINA
Look, this is how you get answers.
(approaches ELPHABA)
Hello, I'm Idina. Could you tell us why we're here?
ELPHABA
I'm Elphaba. You're all here because we need your help.
KRISTIN
How are we supposed to help you?
ELPHABA
Oz is in danger. A woman named Madame Morrible is trying to take over the world. God, that sounded chiche. Anyway, I did some research about your world and I found this thing called Wicked. I guess it's the story of my life, but with singing. I really don't know why anyone would want to hear my story since I'm supposed to be so evil, or how you're lot even know so much about me. Was it the flipping wizard? I bet he told everyone in your world all about me! But that's not the point! The point is that I figured you all would be able to help us.
KRISTIN
Wait, did you say Oz? We're in Oz?
ELPHABA
Uh, yes.
KRISTIN
(takes a second to register it then freaks out)
OH MY FLIPPING GOD WE'RE IN OZ!!!
(takes a deep breath)
Sorry, I had to get that out.
ELPHABA
Oooooohkayyyyyyyy.....
GLINDA
How about we introduce ourselves?
ELPHABA
No need, I already know everybody. This is Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth. I already introduced myself, and this is Glinda and Fiyero.
(pulls out Grimmerie)
This is the Grimmerie. I'm sure you know all about it and what it does. What we're doing is seeing which of you have magic. I already know that Kristin is out, but there's a chance for Idina. Just read this spell out loud.
IDINA
Ok, slow down. Magic? What would make you think I'd have magic?
ELPHABA

IDINA

(slowly)

(the book slowly rises off the ground)

ELPHABA

KRISTIN
