"My client wants spousal support, and his rights to Ms. Wilson's business" James's attorney said.

Before I could say a word, James spoke up, "I also request that she change her last name back to her maiden."

I rolled my eyes and began to speak. "Spousal support? James makes more money that I do"

"Not since your stocks went up, Ms. Wilson.. You make more than him now"

"Ms. Heart" I corrected, "Changing back to my maiden is the only request I'll take"

"Yes, well, Ms. Heart...You make a lot more than James does now. It's only fair that he gets alimony"

"Well" James interrupted, "I wouldn't say a lot more-"

"Point is, you two signed a prenuptial agreement. Her money is hers" My attorney pointed out. She went in her bag and pulled out a copy of our prenup, with a highlighted section that states that alimony will not be awarded to neither party if and when a divorce occurs.

James and his attorney started to whisper to one another, I heard a light sigh from James before they drew their attention back at us.

"My client still wants 50% of Ms. Heart's company. He is owed that."

"He's not though. I own all rights to my establishment." I said, looking through the prenup and highlighting another section which states that in the event of a divorce, James will own 0% of anything regarding my business.

"Look guys, you obviously didn't look at the fine print" My attorney chuckled

"I don't remember any of this in the original prenuptial agreement" James fumed

"That's enough" The judge said. "After going over things since our last hearing, I have concluded that Mr. Wilson will not receive a business interest from Ms. Heart, nor will he receive spousal support. You two will meet for a deposition in a week, at 2:30 pm with your attorneys, then if no problems arise- it shall be settled in 1-2 months. Sound good?"

"Sounds great" I said smiling

"Great, see you at our last hearing" The judge says, dismissing us. My attorney and I got up first, leaving and trying to quickly get to the car.

"ZIANNA!" I heard James yell from behind me. He yelled a few more times, in which I got tired of it and just turned around.

"James, leave me alone" I said sternly

"We have to talk"

"No we don't"

"You don't really want a divorce, do you?"

"Yes, I do matter of fact."

I got in the car and shut the door, James began beating on it- startling my attorney.

"Should we call the police?" She asked

I sighed and shook my head. James' antics only make me dislike him more and more.

"No, let's just go" I say lowly.

We arrived at my office, I thanked my attorney then got out- spotting an older woman yelling at my security.

"Ma'am? Ma'am what is the problem?" I asked, getting closer- only to find out that it was James' mother.

"Oh, Mama Wilson, how are you?" I ask.

She looked at me as if I was the most revolting thing she had ever seen. Her hands laid on her hips and she shifted her weight to her right side.

I could tell she was here to argue, so I invited her into the building so people won't see.

Once in my office, I shut the door and turned to see her sitting in MY chair at MY desk.

"Mama Wilson, why are you in my chair?" I asked as calmly as I could

"Why are you divorcing my son?" She questioned, completely disregarding my question.

I huffed out loud and leaned against a wall. I was not about to play with her today.

"James and I are just not fit for each other"

"And why not?"

"Because we aren't"

"WHY NOT"

"Ma'am, please don't scream at my place of business"

"I SAID WHY NOT"

"BECAUSE YOUR SON IS A LOWDOWN- GOOD FOR NOTHING MAN" I screamed back

I threw my purse on the desk and stood in front of her

"What you won't do is disrespect my son" She spat

"And what you won't do is disrespect me" I said back, not backing down.

She had never really talked to me like this- it's always been a sort of micro aggression.

"You can leave. Or, y'know, I'll have security escort you out. Your choice." I shrugged. I walked over to her and helped her up out my chair- then watched her walk out my office and to the elevators.

I can't wait until this divorce is finalized.
