Heather's POV
"My family will never love me, no matter how hard I try, my father will never change. You gotta help me ma'am."
"Hmm.. and why should I help you? What can you possibly offer?"
"I have nothing to offer.. I have no money."
"Silly girl, you don't know what you want. "
"I'd do a-anything."
Her head quickly turned to face me as if something really interested her.
"Anything?", she smirked.
"Anything.", I confirmed desperate for her help.
"What if I made you into something greater, greater than yourself?", she says as she creeps towards me.
"I'm listening..."
"I could give you a reason for others to respect you, treat you better, even love you.."
"Love me?"
"Of course my dear.. isn't that what you want?"
"Um yes but how did y-"
"My dear please, I could make you invincible, make you special.", she stops me from continuing.
Her words interested me and curiousity stuck my mind. I didn't say anything, everything was just happening too quick. I was dealing with a witch I just met, but I was desperate. That's all I ever wanted, to be wanted.
"Well? Just tell me you want it, and it'll all be yours my dear.", she smiled, extending her hand for me, to know if I agreed.
"I want it, please make me better. I-I'm desperate.", I said as I looked at her eyes.
The most horrifying feeling got to me once she fully smiled at me, like a psycho on the loose.Shit, what did I get myself into.
Strangely, the wind began to pick up inside the cottage we were both in. The witch had closed her eyes as if she were in a trance or casting something..
I could hear faint whispers all around me, now surrounding me but there was no one else but us two. The witch opened her eyes, which were now completely pitch black and began to whisper as well. I couldn't hear anything until she began to speak."Oh he who bewitched me, I unleash myself from the neverending suffering you infested me with."
Light kept flashing different colors around us, even the wind itself turned heavy. Somehow blood poured all over me, spreading its dark color on floor, like a waterfall to a lake.
"You shall be baptized with the blood of my victims..", I heard.
Soaking and now half my face covered with blood as I stood in front of her, mortified. The old woman laughed maniacally as she played with her hands, creating different colors of magical spirals and waves.
"You shall be reborn yet have no purpose. You'll never be yourself ever again, the people you acknowledge now are now temporary, but you and the curse is forever..", she winked with a evil grin.
Curse!? Those words didn't exactly make me feel better at all. I didn't want this anymore, it wasn't worth it. I didn't agree to a damn curse.
"CURSE?! YOU CAN'T DO THAT TO ME! YOU TRICKED ME!", I screamed from the top of my lungs.
The wind became even more aggressive than before. Making me squint and slightly cover my face with my hand.
"Sorry my dear but it's done, although no worries the curse can, in fact, be banished.", a small grin formed on her face.
"And what is that!?"
"The curse can be lifted by the one thing you're afraid of, always wished for, yet never could have!", she looked at me with that stare. The stare that made me realize that the curse will never be lifted, especially with that she was going to say next.
"Love", she said.
My eyes grew wide and my expression grew dull, chills went down my spine. Anger suddenly took control and screamed, not for her, but for myself.
I was doomed...
"NOOO!"
I woke up sweating and tearing up. I was on my bed the entire time, surrounded by my fluffy blanket. It had been just a dream.
"Meow" I herd beside me.
"Oh sorry kitty, I didn't mean to scare you." I caressed his little head. He has been sleeping with me for the few weeks, sometimes at least. Others times it's like he's not even real and dissappears for days. Even he looked shocked and worried on how I woke up, poor baby.
"Had a bad dream that's all." I smile to him, looking at his adorable green eyes.
It sure did feel real, like if it did happen. What the hell is wrong with me? I'm turning crazy for sure.
*knock knock*
"Come in!", I raise my voice, as I sat on my bed to see who it was. It was Thor of course.
Shit this is gonna be awkward.
"Oh heyyy", I say trying not to at sound uncomfortable.
"Sorry for last night, I shouldn't have been that careless. If I would've known I wouldn't have interrupted", he looked very sincere of what he was saying.
"No no no its fine, you weren't interrupting anything, but please promise me that you won't tell a soul what you saw last night. Got it?", I say raising an eyebrow.
"Your wish is my command, little sister", his words made me blush a bit since he was referring to Loki.
"Thank you Thor.", I quickly hug him.
"I'm glad we're finally talking again." I say as I stay in his embrace.
"Oh crap, that's right. I'm sorry about that too my lady I don't know what overcame me." He quickly flinched, but I still let the hug continue.
"I must go, I need to talk to your prince", he winks at me.
"Oh shhh! Remember?
A secret???", I chuckled."Oh right. I need to go and find Loki.", he coughed sarcastically making me roll my eyes playfully.
He marched out my room and closed my door.
"What a great morning, off to a good start. Don't you think kitty-", as soon as I turned around I realized the cat was already gone, like a shadow in the night. Well shit ok.
I wondered about the dream and what it meant. I needed to tell someone, anybody.
I must tell Tony.
