Hermione and Draco were jogging outside on the grounds

The day was warm considering that it was mid January and they both decided to take advantage of the temperature

"S-Stop" Hermione panted, they stopped and put her hands on her knees before dropping her head to her chest

"I hate running" she grumbled, Draco chuckled and walked up to her, he started massaging her shoulders

"I know" he smirked

Hermione sat up straight and wrapped her arms around his chest

"Have you talked to your mum?" She asked him

Draco untied her hair tie before intertwining his fingered into her curls and kissing the top of her head

"No, I've received radio silence" he mumbled into her hair

"I'm sorry" she whispered

Draco pulled away briefly and motioned her to look up

"Why are you apologizing?" Draco asked her

"I know how much you care about your mother...I'm sorry that I caused a rift between you two" she said, Draco wiped her tears before connecting their lips

"Never apologize for my mother's actions" he ordered gently

She went on her tiptoes and kissed him softly

"Race you" she smirked and took off running, Draco stood still for a second before taking off after her

She almost reached the door before Draco wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her up, she squealed and laughed while he spun them around

"Cheater" he whispered into her ear before nipping her earlobe, she giggled and led him to the side of the castle before pushing him against the wall and kissing him passionately

Draco groaned into her lips and pulled her closer to him, he tried to flip them around but she grounded her feet into the ground

"Minx" Draco groaned when she started trailing kisses down his jaw

She hummed against his Adam's apple and he couldn't stop the whimper that escaped his lips

"I like that sound" she smirked against his neck  before biting down on the love mark she left him on his Adam's apple

She started sucking on the pulse point of his neck, she knew how it drove him nuts when she gave him a love bite

Their jackets were quickly discarded and their shirts were about to come off when there was an awkward cough

Hermione jumped away and saw Harry and Luna, Harry looked redder than Ron's hair and Luna was smiling dreamily at him

Hermione tried and failed to fix her dishevelled hair, both their lips were swollen and Draco had three reddening marks on his neck

"What do you want Potter?" Draco asked annoyed

"We were just coming back from feeding the Thestrals and we saw you" Luna smiled

"And I wish we hadn't" Harry grumbled

"Neither did I" Draco muttered

"Want to go get dinner?" Luna asked

"I was hoping for dessert...but I'll guess it'll have to wait" Hermione signed 'innocently', she turned Draco and smirked, Draco groaned and made a move to kiss her only to have her turn her cheek

"You'll pay for this" Draco threatened huskily

Hermione pulled away and walked away with Luna

Harry quickly followed, needing to get out of there as soon as possible, he had accepted Draco and Hermione dating but he would never accept his best friend — practically his sister — and his old nemesis close to shagging by the wall of the castle he spends the majority of his time in

He has enough trauma for a lifetime

Draco rubbed his face while going through difficult runes in hopes of making his hard boner soften

A few moments later, he managed to make his way towards castle entrance, he made his way to the Great hall and saw Hermione sitting beside Pansy, both witches were talking about something when he joined them

"Where were you?" She asked him

"I had a problem to take care of"

She gave him a knowing smirk before kissing his cheek, she put a hand on his knee and went back to discussing her topic with Pansy

"As I was saying—"

Draco turned to Blaise and Theo

"What are you two talking about?" Draco asked them

"Engagement rings" Blaise whispered low enough so that Ginny wouldn't hear

"Already?" Draco asked surprised

"We've been together for two years, I already got approval from her father and my mother, and I love her" Blaise said

Draco glance at Hermione who had her nose bunched up

"Am I hearing wedding bells in the near future?" Theo smirked

"No" Draco said

"But is it possible?" Blaise asked him

Draco sighed and scooted closer to his friends

"It may be in the future, that is if she wants to be with me" Draco said

"Mate, she's smitten with you, the romantic gesture in your room last week? She's raised the bar and we're hearing it from Pansy and Ginny" Theo told him seriously

"But—" Draco began

"Mate...she's it for you, and Ginny has said that you're it for her" Blaise smiled

Draco glanced back to his girlfriend who was smiling with Ginny, Pansy and Luna, her cheeks red before she glanced to Draco and her smile got bigger

Draco felt his heart flutter and he smiled back to her

His friends were right for once

She was it for him, he only hoped that he really was it for her
