Chapter 12

The Clique

-Kenny's POV-

I can't believe it.....I honestly can't believe that those three are still......I paralyzed Matt, practically killed Jaime, and Kayla should've died when she found out about her parents. It doesn't make sense to me, none of it makes sense. It's just an illusion.....it isn't real, and neither are they. It's all a dream that I can wake up from. I'll just close my eyes and I'll wake up, and none of it ever happened..........DAMN!! Everytime I close my eyes, I keep seeing that new girl.....her eyes were white, and her voice didn't sound like her own either. What was her name........Carrie or something like that? It doesn't matter at this point, she has no business with what I have to do. I don't know what she has to do with "Vengeance"......but there was something she said that stuck out like a sore thumb. "You destroyed my sister and left her for dead...." Who is her sister and what does that have to do with The Clique? Hold on......Jaime mentioned that she had a sister that was in a institution for almost 6 years, since she was about 8 years old. Not much could be said as to why she was there, but for whatever reason.....it wasn't good. I know that Ash could be a useful member to The Clique, and that she could give us some information on Vengeance. Only question is this, how did they hijack all of the stations in the entire country? Ash is smart, but not that smart....hell, Ash is smarter than Kayla. She is better looking than Kayla too, if I'd say so myself. But I can't let that get ahead of me, when we need to find some way to beat Vengeance.

-James' POV-

The look on her face was indescribable, I couldn't read her emotions like I used to, and it felt as if she wasn't the same girl I knew. Well, I did break up with her and left her to die. I did notice something before they disappeared.......she held Kayla's hand. I don't know if that could mean that they are together. There is a show called, "Faking It" on MTV and it is amazing.....now that I think about it, Jaime and Kayla could be faking it big time. There is no way Jaime would go straight lesbian like that. She must be going through a phase, and she might want me back sometime later. Hold on......who is this calling me right now.......what do you want with me...........

-Sarah's POV-

James is freaking out.....not sure what the person on the phone is saying right now, but it has him speechless. The look in his eyes is blank as snow and his mouth is hung open. I have never seen him like this, except for that one time when he skipped his mother's funeral. He asked me to come to his house, since he was the only one alone at that time. I saw him, and he sat on the edge of his bed. I sat next to him, and I swore the look in his eyes screamed I need someone to be here. His silence made my ears ring like crazy. When he finally said something, the room kinda echoed back at him. He looked at me, and he kissed me without any warning. He didn't force himself onto me though, which most guys have to done to me in the past. He softly kissed me, and pulled away seconds later. I was almost stunned for a second, then it hit me.....what if he wanted me in his life, instead of Jaime? I pushed that question aside, and I kissed him back. His lips against mine, and I felt a shiver up and down my spine. It felt like our tongues got stuck together during all this, but I wasn't paying much attention to it. After we kissed, I saw the James that I knew back in elementary school....the playful, and jokester. I'm gonna give it a shot, and see if I can get the old James back.

-Sasha's POV-

Sarah is like tongue deep inside of James' mouth and I swear to God.....I almost threw up just at the sight. I mean, Kenny and I do that....but it doesn't freak me out when we do it. It only freaks me out when I see other people do it. Speaking of other people, Kayla and Jaime holding hands before they disappeared a few days ago........are they an official couple? If so, I'm gonna expose them like never before. Vengeance or whatever they want to call themselves, are gonna go for a wild ride. All I need to do is get Ash to get some details on their relationship and expose it all on the morning school news. Let's make it interesting....my secrets for your secrets. Sounds like a deal to me.
