"WHAT do you want to eat boys?" the man in front of me asked.
Tumingin ako sa menu at mukhang hindi pa rin nagbabago ang mga putahe nila. Dito kasi sa Maesteries Restaurant kami madalas pumunta noong buo pa ang pamilya namin. Sa hindi ko malamang dahilan, bakit itong lugar pa ang napili ni Mr. Meneses na kainan namin.
I do not use to call him dad. So, I will just call him Mr. Meneses even it is like I am calling myself.
"You Toe, when you were a kid you like a rib-eye steak. You want it also?" he asked then turn into Trike, "I remember that you love tuna sashimi, Trike. Do you want it?" he also asked.
I rolled my eyes because of it. He's trying so hard to communicate with us. He keeps asking what we like in the past like nothing was happened. Hindi ko alam sa aking sarili na sa tuwing makikita ko siya ay kumukulo pa rin ang dugo ko.
"Axti, I know that you honey butter grilled chicken do—" I cut him.
"I just want a salad," I said and he gasps.
I know that he was shocked because of the way that I answered. Well, I just wanted to tell him that everything has changed the day after he ruined our family. As much as I do not want to be rude to him, but he keeps testing me.
Yes, I guess I am still mad at him. What he will expect? I saw Mr. Meneses just called the waiter to order our food. This is very awkward. My brothers are now quiet because they do not know what to do. The excitement of my siblings earlier turns into awkwardness.

I wanted to get my earphones and just listen to music for me to just not talk with this man. But I do not want to be rude. Heck. I guess I will just endure the awkwardness and questions of this man.

Sumingit sa usapan si Trike. Mukhang nakatunog siya na medyo naiirita na ako sa sitwasyon. Akala ko ay tutulungan niya ako, ngunit sisipsip lang pala siya kay Mr, Meneses.
