Ika-Labing Dalawang Kabanata
MIDTERM came, as usual, it is a hell week for a student like me. This is our last exam and after that, the card will going to released two weeks from now. I'm kinda nervous though, I need to have a high grade, I do not want to disappoint my grandparents.
Of course, on the last day, my friends and I chill out after the long hell examination. Good thing, Keist, and Xeidrine able to join us now. It is their rest day because tomorrow is the athletic meet.
We are here now at Coast's house and watching some movies. I really like that after a long hell week, we have time to chill out. To release stress and exhaustion.
"Ubos na 'yung chips?" Xeidrine asked in the middle of the movie.
"Pati 'yung popcorn? Aba, hindi pa nga tayo nangangalahati sa palabas!" her twin added.
I look at the foods that we bought earlier at the supermarket. It was literally empty and like them, I do not have any idea where the food goes.
Our attention shifted to Keist when we hear him burp and because of that, we already know where it goes. Keist is such a monster food eater.
"Sarap kasi eh," he stated and gave us a peace sign.
"Ang takaw mo talaga!"
"Bibili na lang ako," prisinta ni Xeidrine.
Tumayo siya at nag-inat. Nagka-ideya tuloy ako upang turuan ng leksyon si Keist. Inubos niya ang lahat ng pagkain namin kaya kailangan niyang matuto.
"Keist, bigyan mo ng pambili si Xeidrine," ma-awtoridad kong utos dito.
Aangal pa sana siya ngunit binigyan ko siya ng isang matalim na tingin. At doon, nagkaroon na siya ng ideya na dapat niya akong sundin. Kumuha siya ng pera sa kaniyang pitaka. Kahit na labag sa loob niya ito.
Umalis na si Xeidrine upang bumili, sinamahan siya ni Stair. Samantalang kaming apat ay naiwan sa bahay. Nakabusangot ang mukha ngayon ni Keist dahil sa ginawa ko
We paused the video to wait for the twins. Coast started talking when she gets bored and that irritates me. She's so noisy.
"Keist, Axti, may tanong ako sa inyo," she called us.
Pumagitna siya sa aming dalawa na mayroong seryosong mukha. Pinapanuod lang kami ni Aera sa isang gilid.
"Bakit kayong mga lalaki hindi makuntento sa isa?"
My forehead wrinkled at what she asked. What's with her question?
"Huwag mong lahatin," kontra ko. Maka-generalize siya akala mo lahat kaming lalaki ay hindi sanay makuntento.
