"Let me see your wrists"
The doctor says.
She holds them out,
Not a cut in sight.
She smiles and says
"See I'm just fine"
She'd say anything to please them.
She just wanted out.
With a look of confusion.
The doctor walks out.
The nurse walks in,
And tells her to step on the scale.
What they don't know is,
She has snuck little metal weights
Into her pockets.
The nurse walks out,
With a look of confusion.
After about thirty minutes,
The doctor comes in and says,
"Go one, you're free,
You've made a remarkable recovery,
And so quick too."
They didn't check her pockets,
They didn't check her stomach,
Legs,
Or thighs.
With a sweet smile she replied,
"Thank you, and good bye."
An amazing act.
