THE MALL IS HUGE. I smiled as I saw Macy's. One of my favorite stores.

I looked around us as we took the escalator.

"Do you come here often?" I asked Lydia.

She nodded. "Every two months. Sometimes every month." We reached the top of the stairs and walked into the store. My favorite. Macy's. "So, what about you and Theo?" She asked as we walked into the dresses section. Oh, Stiles, you can't keep your mouth closed. Probably because he has a crush on this girl since 1st or 3rd grade.

I noticed a black dress with floral prints on it. Cute.

I shrugged. "He was my best friend a year ago in New Jersey," I explained.

"What happened?" She questioned.

"He left. He told me the day he was leaving. I was mad at him and still am." I explained. "Why does everyone want to know about him?" Something's definitely going on. First, Stiles asked me about him. Then he and Scott want to talk to him privately and now Lydia?

Then her next question caught me off guard.

"Do you like him?" She asked and I turned to look at her. She stood behind me but was looking at the dresses. I felt my cheeks burning which meant they were turning red.

"I did like him," I told her as I looked back at the dresses and picked up the black dress with the floral prints on it. "Not anymore...Actually, I'm not sure." I turned around and she was looking at me with a frown. "I mean, I thought I didn't like him until I saw him this morning. Every emotion came back. All those memories. I thought I had forgotten about him."

"Then talk to him. Maybe it will help to turn the page and start something new." She suggested and I nodded. "I mean, you could also use a distraction." I turned my head and stared at her confused. What does she mean by that? With her head, she motioned something towards my left. I turned my head and saw Josh sitting at a table in the cafeteria and he's eating a burger. I keep seeing him everywhere.

I turned to look at Lydia. "Do you know him?" I asked.

She turned around and frowned. "Yeah, a junior. Josh Diaz." Then she turned back at me. So, he's not a senior then. Why was he so late at the library the other day? "You should talk to him. I mean, it could help you start something new with someone else."

I looked at her. He's too young. Well, okay, he's only one year younger but still. Wouldn't it be awkward?

"Go talk to him." She suggested.

I shook my head, "It would be too awkward to just walk up to him. It would be easier at school."

********

It was nine o'clock when we finished shopping. I spent two hundred dollars which did not surprise me.

Now, it's already ten. I'm home and I've been walking back and forth for the past ten minutes. Did I really want Theo to come?

Yes and no. Why he had to move here? It's weird that we moved to the same place without knowing it. I thought that a year ago would have been the last time that I would see him. Boy, I was wrong.

Do I still like him?

I don't know.

But, I'm sure he doesn't. He had a few girlfriends and always considered me like a sister that he could trust. I didn't really like it to be considered as a sister to him for two reasons. One, he killed his sister, and two, I used to like him.

I continued to walk back and forth in my room. I should have waited. I sighed as my stomach growled. I walked downstairs and decided to make toasts. When they were ready, I put Nutella on them. I sat down on a chair and placed my plate on the table.
