I SAT NERVOUSLY in the staircase. Stiles was upstairs just waiting if I need him at any point.

I don't want to see Theo. I honestly don't. The front door was opened, and the sun was shining into the house. I looked down at my palms and then my palms were suddenly covered by a shadow as someone stood in front of me.

Theo stood in the doorway, only wearing a tight t-shirt. Even though I'm mad at him, it doesn't change the fact that he looks so good. And for a moment, I thought I was looking at the best friend I once knew.

He looked down at the mountain ash barrier that Stiles had set up, so he doesn't come into the house. I warned him that Theo is the first Chimera created and may not affect him, but he still did it just in case.

Theo looked back up at me with a smile then stepped over the mountain ash. My heart dropped as I tensed up. I quickly stood up.

"I told you that I was not going to hurt you." He said as I played with my fingers nervously. "Saw the YouTube video that you left behind, that was pretty smart." I didn't reply. He glanced back down at the mountain ash. "I know Stiles' here."

I shrugged, "I know that. Wasn't trying to hide it." I tried my best not to snap at him or try and destroy his pretty ugly face.

"I guess we're all telling the truth now." Theo said and I frowned at him. What's that supposed to mean. "But..." He trailed off as he took a couple of steps towards me. "I'm guessing you still haven't told them the truth. Why did you keep my secret from that, why haven't you said anything?"

He looked up and his face was hit with a realization. Probably noticed that Scott was up there too. Or maybe doubting he was there.

"Stiles." Theo said out loud. I glanced behind me and Stiles came out from his spot and stayed at the top of the staircase, holding a black hoodie. He walked down a couple of stairs then threw the black hoodie at Theo which he caught.

"You killed my best friend?" Stiles asked him as he teared up.

"Let's be honest, Stiles." Theo began and I rolled my eyes at him. When was the last time he was honest? "Was he still really your best friend?"

I glared at him. It took me everything not to say something as I want him to help my uncle.

"Are you going to let my father die?" Stiles asked him.

Theo glanced over at me and I just crossed my arms over my chest then he looked back at Stiles. "If I wanted him to die, I wouldn't have told you where to find him." Then he tossed the hoodie to the side.

"Then why are they saying his body is shutting down?" I asked him. Stiles walked down the other stairs and came to stand beside me.

"They said that some toxin's poisoning him and they don't know how to stop it." Stiles added.

"I'm not the bad guy, Stiles." Theo said and I scoffed. I shook my head at that. "I'm just a realist. I'm a survivor. If you knew the things that I know..."

I cut him off, "Yeah, but what do you know, huh?!" I snapped at him.

"I know what's coming," Theo said. "I know what the Dread Doctors created." Stiles looked at me confused and I shrugged. I don't know anything about that. "And I know what Parrish is." He paused. "Lydia figured it out. I saw it in her memories."

I shook my head at him, "And that was right after you drove her out of her mind." I snapped at him.

"Collateral damage." He said. Stiles gave him a look. "But she's right about Parrish, the things around here are gonna get a lot worse."
