LIES OF OMISSION

I HAVEN'T TOLD ANYONE  about Theo. I couldn't bring myself to speak about it. Part of me wanted to believe that Theo actually had no choice. He grew up with a harsh family. The worst part is that a couple of days ago Liam and Hayley were kidnapped by the Dread Doctors and they wanted to get rid of her, but oh no Theo came to the rescue and 'saved' them. Stiles' been awfully quiet about his doubts towards Theo.

I felt bad not bringing it up, but a part of me just couldn't bring it up the fact that Theo is working with them. I don't know if it's because I do believe there is some good about him or if I say it out loud, I have to face reality and the fact that Theo is a bad guy... and losing my closest friend.

I sighed and turned around in my bed. It's been 5 days since I've talked to Theo. I keep avoiding him into the halls and I know Lydia noticed but she hasn't brought it up.

But it's also been five days that we haven't heard or seen anything supernatural happen in town.

But I still have an uneasy feeling...like something will happen.

I barely saw Stiles, too. He's barely talking to me since Liam and Hayden were kidnapped and I believe it's because he's been feeling guilty about it. At least it keeps his attention away from me and hasn't questioned why I have been so quiet.

On a side note, Parrish has been stealing the dead bodies. He's a hellhound or something like that. I have no clue and I honestly don't care at the moment. I don't even want to be part of it anymore and just want to move back to New Jersey and hope my mom would somehow be alive and waiting for me there.

I turned around and looked at my clock and saw I had two minutes left before my alarm. I turned it off immediately and decided to start getting ready for school.

*************

He was the first person I saw when I walked into school. We both had stared at each other, but I was the first one to glance away. I also learned that Scott and Theo spent the whole day together yesterday when Stiles and Lydia were looking for something called the 'Nemeton'.

Even if I told them about Theo, would they believe me? He's been way too good at pretending to be on our side.

I looked down at my notepad as the teacher talked to the class. But I couldn't hear what he was talking about. My mind was just not there.

I jumped as the bell rang and I immediately rushed out of the class but stopped when I heard my name.

"Ashley, can you stay here for a couple of minutes." I heard the teacher say. I sighed and turned around. I waited for the students to walk out and slowly went to my teacher's desk.

"Has there been something troubling you, recently?" He asked once all students left the class. I shook my head. "I know what happened to your mom. I just want you to know that you are a bright student with a bright future and that if you ever need help, we're here for you. We also have a school counselor that you can speak to if you ever need it."

I nodded. That's Lydia's mom. I don't really want to do that.

I walked out of the class and made my way towards the cafeteria. Once I sat down, I noticed that Scott, Stiles, Lydia, and no one else from my group was there.

I saw Theo sitting at a table not too far away. He was sitting with some guys from the Lacrosse team.

My phone beeped and I looked down and saw a message from Stiles.
